【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器组合,其可插接一电子卡。
【背景技术】
随着电子设备通讯速率不断提高的发展趋势以及电子设备小型化的发展需求,对电连接器、电路板的设计要求越来越高。比如,主印刷电路板(即主板)在临近边缘处设置有一个连接器,用来供外部连接器或者电子卡插接,在靠近主板中心或者内部侧则设有另一个电连接器,用来传输信号。两个电连接器之间通过主板上线路传输。但是,不可避免的,容易造成信号或者能量的损失。为了改变此种情况,两个连接器之间则可能采用线缆来取代主板的信号传输,但随着电连接器的增加,会影响信号传输的效率,以及主板的空间安排。
因此,有必要提供一种改良的连接器组合来解决以上的问题。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术方案在于提供一种连接器组合,其能简化主板的线路设置。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用以下技术方案:一种电连接器组合,其包括扁平线缆、位于扁平线缆一端的卡缘连接器及卡锁定结构;所述扁平线缆包括若干个电线,所述卡缘连接部包括纵长的本体及两排端子,所述本体设有沿其纵长方向延伸并向前贯穿的中央槽;所述两排端子位于中央槽的两侧并包括延伸入所述中央槽的接触部及连接部,所述连接部一一连接所述扁平线缆的对应电线,所述中央槽用来供一电子卡插入,以达成信号传输;在所述电子卡插入中央槽时,所述卡锁定结构将所述电子卡固定在所述本体。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用以下另一种技术方案:一种电连接器组合,其包括扁平线缆、位于扁平线缆一端的卡缘连接器、电子卡及卡锁定结构;所述扁平线缆包括若干个电线,所述卡缘连接部的前端设有纵长的中央槽,后端与所述扁平线缆的电线一一相连;所述电子卡插入中央槽,并由所述卡锁定结构固定在所述卡缘连接器。
与现有技术相比,本发明的卡缘连接器直接与线缆相连接,减少主印刷电路板的电连接器设置,简化整个系统。

【具体实施方式】
为便于更好的理解本发明的目的、结构、特征以及功效等,现结合图1至图21介绍本发明电连接器组合的具体实施方式。
请参图1-3所示,电连接器组合1包括偏平线缆90、以及装配在扁平线缆两端的第一界面92(或者称外侧端部或外侧界面)及第二界面94(或者称内侧端部或外侧界面),扁平线缆90由若干尺寸较小的电线96(由图面可以看出是同轴线缆或者同轴电线,内有导电芯)组成。第一界面92包括位于扁平线缆90的外末端的外侧连接器80,外侧连接器80可以是MCIO、Gen-Z或者SlimLine等类型的电连接器,该等连接器由对应厂商开发,具有特点的对接界面及端子数,外侧连接器80用来与安装在主电路板或主板上的对应板端连接器80A相对接。第二界面94包括位于线缆90的内末端的内侧连接器10,本实施例中,所述内侧连接器10(即卡缘连接器10)为用来插接电子卡70的卡缘连接器。
参图3-21所示,卡缘连接器10包括纵长的绝缘本体20,定义彼此对接的方向为前端,相对的则为后端。所述本体20设有沿纵长方向延伸的中央槽22及位于中央槽两侧(即上下两侧)的两排端子槽24,端子槽24位于垂直于前后方向与纵长方向的竖直方向,每一排端子槽24沿纵长方向排列,每一端子槽24则沿本体20的前后方向延伸。一个键扣21则形成在中央槽22内,主要考量电子卡70插入的方向性,即防误插作用。
两排端子50自本体20的后端向前插入端子槽24而完成组装。每一端子50包括位于前端的弹性接触部52及位于后端的连接部54,所述接触部52延伸入中央槽22,连接部54则裸露在本体的后端。连接部54在与接触部52连接的前端部的两侧设有倒刺结构53,从而形成固定部56,所述倒刺结构53用来将端子50定位在对应的端子槽24内。所述本体20在其后端设有前定位部26,所述前定位部26由若干个一体形成在本体20后端的间隔肋28组成,用来将相邻端子的连接部54彼此隔开、隔离。图6清楚可见,每一间隔肋28进一步形成有位于其两侧的侧凸出部29,用来限制偏平线缆90的各电线96内的导电芯98,同时也可以看出,连接部54呈水平状,其在上下方向上被压制在所述侧凸出部29的下方,下文将详细描述。
一个后定位部40则可自本体20分离,其包括纵长的主体部42、两排分隔部44自主体部42的上、下缘分别延伸出,用来分离/隔离相邻的电线96。本体20在所述前定位部26的相对两端形成有一对收容座27,每一收容座27设有柱体25及L型的金属制的加强片23,后定位部40在其纵长两端形成有一对凸出部46,凸出部46则分别收容在对应的收容座27内,每一凸出部46设有一个口袋部48,用来收容对应的柱体25,方便对齐。需注意的是,电线96收容在相邻分隔部44之间的槽道内,导电芯98则收容在相邻间隔肋的侧凸出部29之间的空间内,用来固定/焊接相对应的端子的连接部54。一个注塑盖99则包覆在电线96的前部、后定位部40及前定位部26。在本实施例中,所述注塑盖99在注塑过程中可能会进入端子槽24的后部分。
所述本体20还包括自本体的纵长两端向前延伸的一对侧臂30,每一侧臂30设有与中央槽22对齐的导槽32及沿竖直方向贯穿的固定孔34。一个电子卡70,比如PCIE卡,具有对接端72,对接端72自电子卡一侧凸伸出,且上设置有一排导电垫74及一个对准口75,对准口75用来容纳位于中央槽22的键扣21。电子卡在对接端72的两旁侧设有一对安装孔76。在电子卡70插入卡缘连接器10时,对接端72收容在中央槽22,一对螺栓77穿过固定孔34、安装孔76后再由一个螺帽79固定,从而将电子卡70固定在所述本体20内,所述螺栓77与螺帽79形成卡锁定结构,当然,卡锁定结构也可以是其他方式。
在现有技术中,用来收容电子卡的卡缘连接器一般焊接在主印刷电路板,卡缘连接器通过主印刷电路板的线路与内侧板端连接器相连,线缆的一端连接有外侧端部,另一端则连接有与内侧板端连接器相对接的内侧线端连接器,如此可知,线缆与习知的卡缘连接器并非直接连接。而本发明中,线缆直接连接有卡缘连接器,卡缘连接器通过一对侧臂则直接锁定电子卡,如此,整个连接系统则被简化。
图16-21显示了第二实施例,其结构与第一实施例大致相同,主要介绍不同点。其中后定位部40设有自其本体内表面向前凸伸的若干肋部49,肋部49插入对应本体后端面的端子槽24处,在竖直方向上以紧邻对应端子50的连接部54,如此,保证注塑盖99不能进入所述端子槽24。
以上仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已,不应以此限制本发明的范围。即凡是依本发明权利要求书及本发明说明书内容所作的简单的等效变化与修饰,皆应仍属本发明专利涵盖的范围内。
Claims (10)
1.一种电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述电连接器组合包括扁平线缆、位于扁平线缆一端的卡缘连接器及卡锁定结构;所述扁平线缆包括若干个电线,所述卡缘连接部包括纵长的本体及两排端子,所述本体设有沿其纵长方向延伸并向前贯穿的中央槽;所述两排端子位于中央槽的两侧并包括延伸入所述中央槽的接触部及连接部,所述连接部一一连接所述扁平线缆的对应电线,所述中央槽用来供一电子卡插入,以达成信号传输;在所述电子卡插入中央槽时,所述卡锁定结构将所述电子卡固定在所述本体。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述本体在其纵长方向两端分别向前延伸出侧臂,所述电子卡被夹持在两个所述侧臂之间。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:一对所述卡锁定机构设置在对应的侧臂。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述卡锁定机构包括彼此配合的螺栓与螺母,所述螺栓穿过所述侧臂及电子卡而与所述螺母相固定。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述卡缘连接器包括设置在所述本体后端的前固定部,所述前固定部包括有若干用来固定端子的连接部的间隔肋。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述卡缘连接器包括位于所述前固定部后方的后固定部,所述后固定部设有若干用来固定所述扁平线缆的电线的分隔部。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述卡缘连接器包括注塑盖,所述注塑盖包覆在所述连接部、前固定部及后固定部。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述电连接器组合包括位于线缆另一端的第一界面,第一界面为与一主印刷电路板配合的电连接器。
9.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述电子卡具有凸出其边缘的对接部,对接部设置有导电垫,所述对接部插入中央槽,所述导电垫与端子的接触部相对接;所述侧臂设有与中央槽水平对齐的导槽,所述电子卡之位于对接部两侧的边缘则被夹持在导槽内。
10.一种电连接器组合,其特征在于:所述电连接器组合包括扁平线缆、位于扁平线缆一端的卡缘连接器、电子卡及卡锁定结构;所述扁平线缆包括若干个电线,所述卡缘连接部的前端设有纵长的中央槽,后端与所述扁平线缆的电线一一相连;所述电子卡插入中央槽,并由所述卡锁定结构固定在所述卡缘连接器。
