Example 1
Referring to fig. 1 to 8, the present embodiment provides a connector 1, which includes a functional base 11 and a switching module 12, and referring to fig. 5, two ends of the switching module 12 are an adapting end 121 and a plug 122, respectively, and the adapting end 121 and the plug 122 are an interface and a plug that are adapted under the same type. In this embodiment, a connector for implementing RJ45 switching is taken as an example, and the adapting end 121 and the plug 122 of the switching module 12 are an interface and a plug adapted under RJ45 type. In this embodiment, through the switching module 12 disposed on the functional base 11, after the connector 1 is plugged with the connection object 2, two ends of the connector can be plugged with the cable 3 with the adapting plug 301 at the same time, so as to reduce the assembly cost.
Wherein the functional base 11 and the adapter module 12 are mounted in a mating manner and expose both the mating end 121 and the connector plug 122, so that the connector 1 can be connected with the connection object 2 through the connector plug 122, and the mating end 121 can be connected with the cable 3 with the mating plug 301. Specifically, referring to fig. 1 and 2, the functional base 11 corresponds to a male connector housing of a connector for implementing RJ45 switching, the plug 122 of the switching module 12 is a male connector, the connection object 2 is provided with a female socket 201 and a female connector housing 202, and the female socket 201 is mounted on the female connector housing 202, however, in other embodiments, the functional base 11 may also be a female connector housing of a connector for implementing RJ45 switching, the switching module 12 corresponds to a female socket, the connection object 2 includes a male connector housing and a male connector housing, or a male connector housing and a female socket and a female connector housing both adopt the structural forms of the functional base 11 and the switching module 12, which is not limited herein. In the present embodiment, the adapter module 12 is cooperatively mounted to the functional base 11 with the mating end 121 and the plug 122 exposed, so that the connector 1 can be connected to the female socket 201 through the plug 122. That is, after the adapting module 12 adopted in this embodiment is mounted on the functional base 11, the adapting end 121 and the adapting plug 122 are exposed, so that the adapting end 121 of the adapting module 12 can be adapted to the adapting plug 301 of the cable 3 of different types, the specifications and the dimensions of the rear ends of the cable 3 do not affect the connection between the adapting end 121 and the adapting plug 301, the adapting and inserting of the cable 3 of different types can be realized, the situation that the cable 3 needs to be disassembled and replaced or a plurality of connectors and the cable 3 need to be arranged for adapting is avoided, the production cost and the labor cost are reduced, and the use by a user is facilitated.
The functional base 11 also comprises, among other things, means capable of providing a function in relation to itself and/or to the connection object 2. The functional measures include at least one of supporting measures, guiding measures, shielding measures and sealing measures. Further, the supporting means comprises an outer shell for providing supporting protection, the guiding means comprises a guiding column arranged on the functional base 11, the shielding means comprises a metal outer shell or a plastic outer shell and a metal shielding layer arranged in the metal outer shell, and the sealing means comprises a sealing gasket arranged on the functional base 11, which is not illustrated herein. In this way, the functional measures provided on the functional base 11 ensure the functional characteristics of the functional base 11 itself or the associated connection between the functional base 11 and the connection object 2. In the present embodiment, the description is given taking an example in which the function base 11 includes a function measure capable of providing the connection object 2, specifically, a guide measure is adopted for the function measure. Further, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the functional base 11 is provided with a guide post 13, and the female connector base 202 is provided with a guide block 14 matched with the guide post for guiding, so as to realize guiding between the female connector base 202 and the functional base 11 and ensure the ready docking of the female connector base 202 and the functional base 11.
In this embodiment, referring to fig. 1, the portable electronic device further includes an adapting compatible frame 15, the adapting compatible frame 15 and the functional base 11 are provided with auxiliary mounting structures 16 that are mounted in a matching manner, the functional base 11 is provided with a through hole for mounting the adapting compatible frame 15, and the adapting module 12 is disposed in the through hole through the adapting compatible frame 15 and is limited by the auxiliary mounting structures 16 so as to be movably mounted on the functional base 11. In this embodiment, the adaptor module 12 is mounted on the functional base 11 through the compatible frame 15, so that on one hand, the adaptor module 12 is convenient to replace, and on the other hand, the same adaptor module 12 can be conveniently used in connectors of different types by typing the through holes formed in the functional base 11 and the compatible frame 15.
Specifically, with continued reference to fig. 1 to 4, the auxiliary mounting structure 16 is a protrusion 161 disposed on two opposite sides of the adaptive compatible frame 15 and a clamping slot 162 formed on the functional base 11, and is clamped and fixed on the clamping slot 162 by the protrusion 161, so as to realize that the adaptive compatible frame 15 is mounted on the functional base 11. Of course, in other embodiments, the auxiliary mounting structure 16 may be an auxiliary member such as a screw or a fastener, or the like, so that the compatible frame 15 can be detachably mounted on the functional base 11, which is not limited herein. The manner of the projection 161 and the clamping groove 162 adopted in the present embodiment facilitates the disassembly and the installation of the adapter compatible frame 15.
In addition, in other embodiments, in order to reduce the assembly steps, a connection mode of integrally forming the compatible frame 15 and the functional base 11 may be adopted, which is not limited herein.
The connection relationship between the adapting module 12 and the adapting compatible frame 15 may be that the adapting module 12 is movably connected with the adapting compatible frame 15. In this embodiment, referring to fig. 6 to 7, the adapting compatible frame 15 includes a limiting member 151, the limiting member 151 is movably inserted into the adapting compatible frame 15, the limiting member 151 is provided with clamping channels 1511 clamped on two opposite sides of the adapting module 12, and the limiting member 151 is matched with the adapting compatible frame 15 to limit and fix the adapting module 12, so that the adapting module 12 is movably mounted on the adapting compatible frame 15. Specifically, the adaptive compatible frame 15 is a U-shaped frame with a mounting hole 152, wherein the adaptive compatible frame 15 is formed with a "U" shaped limiting groove 153 on the side walls of opposite sides of the mounting hole 152, one or more ribs 1531 are provided on the inner surface of the "U" shaped limiting groove 153, two limiting members 151 are provided, two limiting members 151 are respectively provided with a sliding groove 1512 in which the ribs 1531 on the "U" shaped limiting groove 153 on each side are slidably provided, one end surface of each limiting member 151 is provided with an end surface baffle 1513, the end surface baffle 1513 limits the adapting module 12, the other end far from the end surface baffle 1513 is provided with a hook 1514, the adaptive compatible frame 15 is correspondingly provided with a hook slot 154 in which the hook 1514 is hooked, and the limiting members 151 are spliced on the adaptive compatible frame 15 through the hook 1514 and the hook slot 154. During installation, the adapting module 12 is installed in the installation hole 152 of the adapting compatible frame 15, the limiting piece 151 is clamped on two opposite sides of the adapting module 12 through the clamping channels 1511, the limiting piece 151 is matched with the sliding groove 1512 through the convex ribs 1531 and further slides on the U-shaped limiting groove 153, the limiting piece 151 slides until the end face baffle 1513 of the limiting piece 151 abuts against the adapting module 12, at this time, the clamping hooks 1514 on the limiting piece 151 are hooked with the hooking grooves 154 of the adapting compatible frame 15, and accordingly the adapting module 12 is installed in the adapting compatible frame 15. In this embodiment, the clamping channels 1511 of the limiting member 151 are clamped on the upper and lower sides of the adapting module 12, and then the limiting member 151 is slidably inserted into the adapting frame 15 from the bottom of the adapting frame 15. Of course, in another implementation, referring to fig. 8, the clamping channels 1511 of the limiting member 151 may be clamped on the left and right sides of the adapting module 12, and then the limiting member 151 may be slidably inserted on the adapting compatible frame 15 from the front of the adapting compatible frame 15, which is not limited herein. The manner of the limiting member 151 adopted in the embodiment facilitates the assembly of the adapting module 12 and the adapting compatible frame 15, and the operation can be facilitated without using tools and hands, thereby reducing the assembly steps and the assembly cost.
Example two
Referring to fig. 9 to 10, similar to the connector of embodiment 1, this embodiment provides another connector having a structure substantially the same as that of embodiment 1, except that the adaptor module is movably mounted on the adaptor compatible frame in a different structural form:
In this embodiment, the adapting compatible frame 25 is a split structure, and includes two parts that are mutually clamped and matched, and the adapting module 22 is located inside the mutually clamped adapting compatible frame 25. Referring to fig. 9 to 10, the adaptive compatible frame 25 is a first frame 251 and a second frame 252 which are disposed up and down, the inner parts of the first frame 251 and the second frame 252 respectively form a limit groove and a convex rib which are mutually matched and clamped, the first frame 251 and the second frame 252 are assembled by mutually abutting and clamping the limit groove and the convex rib, mounting holes are formed in the clamped first frame 251 and second frame 252, and the switching module 22 is arranged in the mounting holes. In this embodiment, the adopted adapting compatible frame 25 is of a split structure, which is convenient for processing, and the adapting compatible frame 25 and the adapting module 22 are convenient to assemble and easy to operate.
Of course, in other embodiments, the adaptor module and the adaptor module may be integrally formed, such as by injection molding, or 3D printing, which is not limited herein. In this embodiment, an integrally formed manner of the adapter module and the compatible frame is adopted, so that the assembly steps are reduced.
Example III
Referring to fig. 11 and 12, the present embodiment provides another connector similar to the connector in embodiment 1, whose function is substantially the same as that of the connector in embodiment 1, except that the structures of the function base and the transfer module are different:
In this embodiment, the connector includes a functional base 31 and a switching module 32, two ends of the switching module 32 are an adapting end 321 and a plug 322 respectively, the adapting end 321 and the plug 322 of the switching module 32 are an adapting interface and a plug under the same type, and the switching module 32 in this embodiment can be a switching function for implementing a USB or SC type interface, so correspondingly, the adapting end 321 and the plug 322 of the switching module 32 are an adapting interface and a plug under the same type of USB, SC, and the like, which is not limited herein.
The functional base 31 is mounted in cooperation with the adapter module 32 and exposes both the adapting end 321 and the plug 322, so that the connector can be connected with a connection object through the plug 322, and the adapting end 321 can be connected with a cable with the adapting plug.
The adapter module 32 includes a core 323 and a module housing 324 adapted to be sleeved with the functional base 31, the adapting end 321 and the plug 322 are respectively disposed at two ends of the core 323, the functional base 31 includes an outer bracket 311, the outer bracket 311 is provided with a mounting cavity capable of accommodating the adapting module housing 324, and a first opening 3111 and a second opening (not shown in the figure) respectively disposed at two ends of the mounting cavity, so that the adapting end 321 and the plug 322 are respectively exposed. Further, the adapting module 32 and the functional base 31 are further provided with screw holes for screws to pass through and lock.
In this embodiment, the functional base 31 further includes a supporting means for providing a supporting protection, and the outer casing is an outer bracket of the functional base 31. The above structure is adopted in this embodiment, so that the switching module 32 is sleeved and installed on the functional base 31, and the supporting measures set on the functional base 31 can also play a better supporting and protecting role on the switching module 32.
Example IV
Referring to fig. 13 and 14, the present embodiment provides another connector similar to the connector in embodiment 1, whose function is substantially the same as that of the connector in embodiment 1, except that the functional base and the transfer module are different in structure:
In this embodiment, the connector includes a functional base 41 and an adapter module 42, two ends of the adapter module 42 are an adapting end 421 and an adapting plug 422 respectively, the adapting end 421 and the adapting plug 422 of the adapter module 42 are an adapting interface and a plug under the same type, and the adapter module 42 in this embodiment can be an adapting function for implementing an interface of USB or SC, etc., and correspondingly, the adapting end 421 and the adapting plug 422 of the adapter module 42 are an adapting interface and a plug under the same type of USB, SC, etc., which is not limited herein.
The functional base 41 is fitted with the adapter module 42 and exposes both the fitting end 421 and the plug 422, so that the connector can be connected with a connection object through the plug 422, and the fitting end 421 can be connected with a cable with the fitting plug.
The switching module 42 includes a core 423 and a module housing 424 adapted to be sleeved with the functional base 41, the adapting end 421 and the plug 422 are respectively disposed at two ends of the core 423, the functional base 41 includes an outer bracket 411, the outer bracket 411 is provided with a mounting cavity capable of accommodating the adapting module housing 424, and a first opening 4111 and a second opening (not shown in the figure) respectively disposed at two ends of the mounting cavity, so that the adapting end 421 and the plug 422 are respectively exposed. Further, the adapting module 42 and the functional base 41 are further provided with screw holes for threading and locking screws.
In this embodiment, the functional base 41 further includes a functional measure capable of providing a function related to itself, where the functional measure includes at least one of a supporting measure, a guiding measure, a shielding measure, and a sealing measure, the supporting measure includes an outer casing providing supporting protection, the guiding measure includes a guiding post provided on the functional base, the shielding measure includes a metal outer casing or a plastic outer casing and a metal shielding layer built therein, and the sealing measure includes a sealing gasket provided on the functional base. Specifically, the outer housing is the outer bracket 411 of the functional base 41, and the guiding means, shielding means and/or sealing means may be fixedly mounted to the outer bracket 411. The above structure is adopted in this embodiment, so that the switching module 42 is conveniently mounted on the functional base 41, and the supporting measures set on the functional base 41 can play a better supporting and protecting role on the switching module 32 on one hand, and on the other hand, other functional measures are conveniently additionally added on the outer bracket 411 according to the user requirements.
