Abstract

Metal baking enamels have been developed for over 60 years in our country. However, these types of baking lacquers have the problems of lack of commonality of adhesion and narrow application range, and it is difficult to achieve good adhesion to all kinds of metal products. For example, alkyd/amino baking paints have good adhesion only to ferrous products and poor adhesion to other metallic products, so that such baking paints are only suitable for ferrous products. The acrylic acid/amino baking varnish and the polyester/amino baking varnish are suitable for iron products, aluminum products, stainless steel products and carbon steel products, are not suitable for copper products, zinc products and alloy products, have poor adhesive force to the products and are easy to fall off a paint film. The adhesive force is the most basic property of the metal baking varnish and the most main property. In the case of unacceptable adhesion, all other properties (e.g., hardness, toughness, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, salt spray resistance, etc.) were neither observed nor detected. Because the metal baking varnish has not broken through the problem of poor adhesive force universality and narrow application range, metal product spraying enterprises have to purchase a plurality of metal baking varnishes at the same time when purchasing the metal baking varnish, and the requirements of different metal products are met. Even if the price is great, the baking varnish manufacturer orders the special baking varnish for a certain metal product, but even so, the problem of the adhesive force universality of the metal baking varnish cannot be solved.
