However, the manufacture and assembly of such a plug-in connector is very complicated, especially if, in addition to the first arm of the locking clip, a second arm is also fastened in the corresponding arm of the handle. Furthermore, the handle must be configured according to the clamp to be inserted, so that it cannot be used in practice for differently shaped clamps, in particular also with other dimensions.

It is therefore also known to manufacture the locking clip and the handle in one piece from metal, wherein a plastic handle part can additionally be provided. Another publication of this type, DE 101 20 846 A12, points out this solution. The disadvantage of this solution is that the two relatively thin support arms of a support leg together form a swivel bearing for the locking pin, one of the support arms being additionally made elastic. As a relatively slender component, this support arm has to require a firm stop and cannot ensure a separate support on the locking pin, so it is necessary to provide another support arm which facilitates the support. The disadvantage is that the spring force is only concentrated on one spring arm, so it is heavily loaded.

In this respect the solution of DE 100 06 433 A1 appears to be advantageous, wherein the support is carried out by means of a single support arm, and a fixed pin which does not itself have a supporting effect fixes the pin in the support hole of the firm support arm to prevent drop. However, this fixing pin is set unreasonably, so it is easy to be damaged during operation. The fastening force is produced by the elastic action of the rubber seal in combination with the clamp, which however is relatively uncertain with regard to the spring force. Furthermore, this solution is more disadvantageous with regard to the production process (stamping process).

Contents of the invention

The fastening pins are each protected against damage in a simple manner, since they are formed separately from the free edges of the omega-springs, in particular inside the omega-springs or at their edges, they are almost “closed” to the outside. The fixed pin is not part of the swing hinge. They do not lock and do not take force. The two free edges and the fixing pin are each lug-shaped cut from the plate forming the locking lever. Production is therefore more complicated in this area as before, but the design according to the invention results in a particularly reliable function.

Detailed ways

1a-c each show an electrical plug-in connector 1 with a first plug-in connector 2 and a second plug-in connector 4 which can be locked thereon by means of a handle 3 . The plug connectors each have a housing 5 , 6 with a through-opening 7 for a cable. Plug pins and/or sockets, plug-in modules, etc. can be installed in the housings 5, 6, so as to realize the electrical connection between the wires.

The view of Figure 1 should not be construed as limiting. The orientation of the two plug-in connections during use can be arbitrary.

The handle (Handhabe) 3 is integrally punched and formed from a metal plate.

It has (see FIG. 3 ) two locking clips 8 , 9 as lateral sides of the longitudinal arms and a base 10 connecting the two locking clips, to which an angled actuating section 11 is integrally attached.

The locking clip is omega-shaped or designed as an omega spring with two free sides 15 , 16 and a base as part of the omega spring, wherein the free sides 15 , 16 are connected to the base 10 . Formed on the first plug connector 2 are two pivot pins 12 with thicker heads 13 ( FIGS. 1 , 2 ), which serve to support the locking clips 8 , 9 on this plug connector.

The locking itself takes place at the associated locking pin 14 on the associated second plug-in connector 4 .

For this purpose, one of the two free sides 15, 16 of the omega spring has a support recess 17 (see FIG. 3). When locking, the two plug connectors 2, 4 are then first plugged together in the manner shown in FIG. 1 . Then the handle 3 is turned as a whole, and at this moment the two Ω-shaped locking clips 8, 9 expand respectively as a whole. Because this spring action goes over the entire omega spring—especially in the rear region of the base—unlike in the prior art, only a single spring arm is subjected to a high force, which requires a firm stop. The hinge on the link pin 12 does not need two articulated arms, but only needs a unique bar-shaped articulated arm, and the fixed spring 18 only plays a fixing role, without a supporting function.

Both the convenient assembly by snapping the handle 3 onto the hinge pin 12 ( FIGS. 2 a , 2 b ) and the handling during operation ( FIGS. 1 a - c ) are simple and especially economical.
