Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones y equipos que incluyen un desacoplador químico, tal como tirfostina 9 o su precursor o sal, y composiciones que incluyen un desacoplador químico, tal como tirfostina 9 en combinación con uno o más agentes terapéuticos, por ejemplo, L–carnitina, que son útiles, por ejemplo, en el tratamiento de la obesidad, la prevención del aumento de peso, la promoción de la pérdida de peso/adelgazamiento, y/o el tratamiento o la prevención del desarrollo de diabetes.
