Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona a una composición farmacéutica de administración oral de nitazoxanida útil para el tratamiento de infecciones parasitarias intestinales en la forma de gránulos para suspensión, en donde dicha composición contiene: (a) una fracción de liberación inmediata compuesta por gránulos sin recubrimiento o polvo sin granular de nitazoxanida; y (b) una fracción de liberación pH-dependiente formada por gránulos de nitazoxanida recubiertos por uno o más polímeros de solubilidad pH-dependiente.
