Abstract
Métodos para el desarrollo de un tratamiento en base a un bacteriófago virulento para el control de enfermedades en plantas provocadas por Xylella fastidiosa. La invención además provee métodos para aislar y propagar el bacteriófago virulento para X. fastidiosa en un huésped bacteriano Xanthomonas y para tratar o reducir los síntomas de la infección por X. fastidiosa en una planta. La invención además provee métodos para aislar y propagar el bacteriófago virulento para Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri y para tratar o reducir los síntomas de la infección por Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri en una planta.
