Abstract

Una silla médica que tiene una pluralidad de posiciones ajustables incluye un asiento, una plataforma configurada para soportar el asiento y una columna. La columna incluye soportes anidados, en los cuales un primero de los soportes se acopla de manera fija a la plataforma y un segundo de los soportes se acopla de manera operativa al asiento, en donde los soportes anidados se extienden de manera telescópica a medida que el asiento se posiciona con respecto a la plataforma. Un portador de cable enlazado se localiza dentro de una carcasa, en donde la carcasa se extiende desde la base hacia el asiento y se dispone de manera adyacente a la columna. Un reposapiés y un espaldar se acoplan de manera giratoria al asiento. Un actuador de posición del asiento se localiza de manera central en el asiento y el actuador de reposapiés y el actuador de espaldar se localizan en lados opuestos del actuador de posición del asiento.
