Abstract
Sistemas y métodos que se pueden usar para entregar un dispositivo de acoplamiento a una válvula nativa del corazón de un paciente. Se puede colocar una región distal de un catéter de entrega en una aurícula del corazón y se puede colocar una punta distal en o cerca de una comisura de la válvula nativa. El dispositivo de acoplamiento puede ubicarse dentro del catéter de entrega. Un empujador, tal como un cable o tubo empujador, de una herramienta empujadora puede avanzar distalmente a través del catéter de entrega, en donde el empujador puede empujar el dispositivo de acoplamiento a lo largo del catéter de entrega. El dispositivo de acoplamiento se puede conectar a la herramienta de empuje mediante una línea, como una sutura. Un miembro de la herramienta de empuje puede girar para cambiar la cantidad de sutura que se extiende desde la herramienta de empuje.
