Abstract
Un método, sistema y aparato para la planificación del tratamiento de ortodoncia para alinear los dientes de un paciente y dispositivos dentales para alinear los dientes del paciente según el método. El método comprende realizar una estadificación previa para evaluar la salud oral y periodontal general de un paciente. Además, el método comprende realizar una etapa del arco inferior de planificación del tratamiento para definir el movimiento de al menos un diente de un arco inferior, realizar una etapa del arco superior de planificación del tratamiento para definir el movimiento de al menos un diente de un arco superior y realizar una etapa final del arco de planificación del tratamiento para definir la articulación de los arcos inferior y superior. Se pueden fabricar aparatos dentales que tengan geometrías determinadas en función de al menos una de las etapas de la arcada inferior, la etapa de la arcada superior y la etapa de la arcada final. El uso de aparatos dentales sucesivos por parte del paciente manipula los dientes del paciente para obtener una disposición final alineada de los dientes, según lo planificado por el método.
