Abstract

La invención se refiere a un sistema de almacenamiento en estanterías altas para el almacenamiento y la recuperación de contenedores, que comprende una pluralidad de compartimentos de estantería separados, dispuestos horizontalmente uno junto al otro y verticalmente uno sobre el otro, y pasillos de almacenamiento dispuestos entre grupos de compartimentos de estantería y que se extienden en paralelo entre sí y en cada uno de los cuales se puede mover hacia adelante y hacia atrás al menos una grúa apiladora, que está diseñado para mover los contenedores vertical y horizontalmente y para introducirlos y extraerlos de los compartimentos de estantería, en el que el sistema de almacenamiento en estanterías altas, además de los compartimentos de estantería separados, presenta al menos una zona diseñada y adecuada para recibir contenedores vacíos apilados uno sobre otro. Además, la invención se refiere a un método para almacenar, recuperar y reubicar contenedores en un sistema de almacenamiento en estanterías altas de este tipo.
