Abstract

Hose clip consisting of a metal band (1) wound upon itself, the ends whereof are respectively provided with complementary catch means comprising, in particular, a hook (5) able to pass behind a shoulder or lug (2) as the clip is being applied. The innermost end of the band extends, when the clip is in the closed position, at least beyond the hook. At the base of the support (4) of the hook (5) there is at least one corrugation (1b) of the band, the maximum distance between the inside surface of the corrugation and the outside surface of the extension (3) of the innermost end of the band being at most equal to the thickness of the band and preferably between a third and a half of this thickness. <IMAGE>
