Description
The present invention relates to feeds from leather waste in combination with inactivated sludges from sewage treatment plants, the content of pork stomachs and possibly blood from sanitary slaughter for feeding purposes in liquid form.
For the feeding purposes of monogastric animals, especially pigs and the like, traditional feeds of plant and animal origin have been used in the form of compound feeds prepared according to recipes. In addition, the compound feed should be formulated to contain components of both animal and plant origin.
Industrial leather processing generates a considerable amount of waste. Their utilization is currently at a very low level and their remediation is associated with considerable costs.
One of the modern ways of working leather is their preparation using formaldehyde. If their processing in the classical manner at the Veterinary Sanitation Institute was tested, the glue was formed with the separation of fat and subsequent failures of the mechanical technology equipment. This implies that leather waste is unsuitable for this type of treatment.
In pigmeat production, the contents of pig stomachs are produced as waste, which are disposed of with other slaughterhouse waste in the slaughter of pigs. Because of their undigested content, mostly of vegetable origin, they cannot be classified as a component for the production of animal meal produced by the Veterinary Sanitation Institute.
In the slaughter of animals at ambulance slaughter, blood is also mined. Since it is blood from diseased animals, sterilization is essential if it is used as feed. Due to the high water content (15 - 18% dry matter), its addition to classical raw material in traditional processing at the Veterinary Sanitation Institute is uneconomical due to the current fuel. Processing with technical blood on other drying equipment is not permitted for ineffective sterilization.
Each sewage treatment plant of an agro-food complex based on activated sludge produces waste biomass during the purification process. This occurs during the purification process by the multiplication of micro and lower microorganisms in the aerated waste water contaminated with organic waste substances. This sludge is non-sterile and is mainly used to fertilize the soil.
If the use of sewage sludge for feed purposes was tested, it was either non-sterile sludge or its drying treatment, which is uneconomical due to high energy demand and high water content (0.3 - 3% dry matter).
Na základě chemických analýz bylo zjištěno, že kožedělné odpady, preparované formaldehydem, obsahují následující živiny:Chemical analyzes have revealed that the formaldehyde-treated leather waste contains the following nutrients:
— 46 — 47 % hm sušiny — 40 — 47 o/o‘ hm dusíkatých látek.- 46 - 47 wt% dry matter - 40 - 47 o / o ‘wt nitrogenous substances.
Tyto kožedělné odpady kromě nízkých zbytkových hodnot formaldehydu, který se při tepelném opracování beze zbytku odpaří, neobsahují žádné nežádoucí příměsi a škodliviny. Surovina je bílé barvy, pachem typické kůže s mírným zápachem formaldehydu. In addition to the low residual values of formaldehyde, which evaporates completely during the heat treatment, these leather waste does not contain any undesirable impurities and noxious substances. The raw material is white in color, the smell of typical leather with a slight odor of formaldehyde.
Obsahy vepřových žaludků obsahují 30 % hm sušiny — 7 % hm dusíkatých látek, přičemž zbytek tvoří stravitelné živiny. The contents of pork stomachs contain 30% by weight of dry matter - 7% by weight of crude protein, the rest being digestible nutrients.
Krev ze sanitních porážek obsahuje — 18 % hm sušiny % hm dusíkatých látek.Ambulance slaughter blood contains - 18 wt% dry matter% wt nitrogenous substances.
Aktivované kaly z biologických čistíren odpadních vod zemědělsko-potravinářského komplexu po zahuštění obsahují — 3 % hm sušiny — 50 °/o hm dusíkatých látek v sušině. Jsou prosty nežádoucích příměsí, tmavohnědé barvy, zrnitého pachu.Activated sludges from biological sewage treatment plants of agro-food complex after concentration contain - 3% by weight of dry matter - 50% / by weight of nitrogenous substances in dry matter. They are free of undesirable impurities, dark brown color, grainy odor.
Všechny tyto uvedené odpadní suroviny tedy obsahují značné procento látek, cenných pro výživu. Ovšem bakteriologickými rozbory všech výše uvedených jmenovaných komponentů byla zajištěna značná kontaminace saprofytickou mikroflórou a u kůží sporami plísní.All these waste materials thus contain a significant percentage of nutritionally valuable substances. However, bacteriological analyzes of all of the above-mentioned components have ensured considerable contamination with saprophytic microflora and fungal spores in the skin.
A long-term analysis of this issue revealed that it is therefore necessary from a health dietary point of view to perform sterilization. Sterilization in pressure vessels can be carried out in an aquifer state for as long as necessary so that protein destruction occurs to a minor extent.
It has been found that by some processing of the cited substances and combinations thereof, a liquid feed with significant nutritional values, particularly suitable for monogastres, can be produced.
Accordingly, the present invention relates to a liquid feed characterized in that it is composed of leather waste, e.g., formaldehyde-treated, activated biological sludge, ambulance blood and pig stomach content, in such a proportion that the final product contains at least 25% by weight of dry matter, at least 12% by weight of nitrogenous substances.
Other high-water feedstocks can be all low solids and nitrogen-containing liquid wastes, such as dairy wastes or broths, produced during the production of cooked products in meat processing plants.
The combination of wastes according to the invention for the production of liquid feed is advantageous in that, in sterilizing and expanding the skin, it is necessary to add water, which is replaced by activated sludge or ambulance blood, in order to prevent the formation of gases.
The proposal also includes the recognition that liquid dairy waste or the broth from the meat processing plant may be added to the basic raw materials referred to in the previous paragraph, which may replace any of these raw materials with a high water content.
The liquid feed of the design is produced by mixing, boiling, sterilizing the individual components and using the resulting feed to feed the animals.
For the sake of clarity, exemplary embodiments of liquid feed and methods for producing the feed are given.
