Abstract
Vynález je možné využiť aj pri farbení polypropylénových fólií kyslý- mí a organickými farbivamiThe invention relates to polypropylene fibers modified with nitrogen compounds with improved dyeability, especially when dyeing with surface acid and metal complex dyes. The improvement lies in the deeper diffusion of dyes into the fiber mass, which is achieved by the polypropylene fiber, in addition to amino nitrogen in an amount of 0.1 to 1.0 wt. %, also containing polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 600 to 20,000 in a concentration of 0.5 to 5.0 wt. %, always based on the weight of the fibers. The invention can also be used when dyeing polypropylene films with acid and organic dyes

Vynález sa týká polypropylénových vlákien sozlepšenou vyfarbiteTnosťou, modifikovaných zlú-čeninami dusíka so zlepšenými vlastnosťami, ako jeschopnost’ takýchto vlákien přijímat’ kyslé a kovo-komplexné farbivá difúziou do váčších híbokvlákna.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to polypropylene fibers with improved dyeability, modified with nitrogen compounds with improved properties, such as the ability of such fibers to receive acidic and metal-complex dyes by diffusion into the larger fibers.
Polypropylene fibers unmodified are only surface-stained with oilophilic dyes, which are soluble in polypropylene, bonded in the mass by vanderwals, and therefore the brightness properties are low, not only for chemical cleaning but also for rubbing, abrasion and abrasion. For these reasons, constantly modifying modifiers with the ability to attract dyes, most often used for dyeing other types of fibers, whether natural or chemical, are required. These modifiers are introduced into the polypropylene either as a physical dough as additives before it is processed into fibers or chemically, more often by seeding onto the surface of the fiber or onto the surface of the initial granulate polymers. In practice, the physical modification, i.e. the additives of the dyeing agents, has proved most successful. In addition to the presence of suitable functional groups, good coloring properties include good technological compatibility with modifiers with polypropylene and a suitable so-called skyprotection of modified polypropylene fibers, which allows diffusion of polar dyes through non-polar polypropylene to individual particulate modifiers dispersed in polypropylene. Even with such a structure, the so-called dust-like dyeing occurs, which means that the dye only penetrates into the surface layers of the fiber, while the fiber remains uncoloured. This has a detrimental effect on the usability of the modifier, the uniformity, and the stability of the fiber dyeing.
Zistili sme, že difúziu farbív, najma kyslýcha kovokomplexných do modifikovaných polypro-pylénových vlákien ulahčuje a urýchluje prídavokpolymérnych látok s antistatickou účinnosťou, akosú polyetylénglykoly, do hmoty polyméru modifi-kovaného zásaditými zlúčeninami a to před zvlák-ňovaním ale v priebehu výroby vlákien. Polypropy-lénové vlákna podlá tohoto vynálezu modifikova-né, zlúčeninami dusíka obsahujú okrem aminické-ho dusíka v koncentrácii 0,1 až 1,0 % hm. pochá-dzajúceho z aminického dusíkatého modifikátor^aj polyetylénglykol o molekulovej hmotnosti 600až 20 000 v koncentrácii 0,05 až 5 % hm., nahmotnost’ vlákien. We have found that the diffusion of colorants, in particular acid-metal complexes into modified polypropylene fibers, facilitates and accelerates the addition of antistatic polymeric substances such as polyethylene glycols to the polymer mass modified with basic compounds prior to spinning but during fiber production. Polypropylene fibers of the present invention modified with nitrogen compounds in addition to the amine nitrogen at a concentration of 0.1 to 1.0 wt. and a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of from 600 to 20,000 at a concentration of 0.05 to 5% by weight, the fiber weight.
Zlepšená vyfarbiteřnosť sa zistila pri aplikácilviacerých aminických modifikátorov do polypro-pylénu ako napr. kopolymérov etylénu a dialkyla-minoalkylesteřov kyseliny akrylové^ alebo metak-rýlovej, kopolymérov pozostávajúcičh z jednotiekdialkylaminoalkylesteru kyseliny akrylovej alebometakrylovej a alkylesterov kyseliny akryloveja metakrylovej, kopolyméru 2-vinylpyridínu a ky-seliny akrylovej alebo metakrylovej, polyamino-tríazolov, polyamidmočoviny, kopolyamidov, ko-polykohdenzátov piperazínu, alkylesteru kyselinyakrylovej a hexametyléndiaménu a dalších. Před zvlákňovaním sa přidává do taveniny poly-propylénu 8 % hm. kopolyméru kyseliny metakry-lovej a etylénu upraveného dietylalkylaminoeta-nolom s obsahom aminického dusíka 2,2 % voformě taveniny, čo představuje 0,176 % hm. tohtodusíka vo vlákně. Improved colorability has been found in the application of multiple amine modifiers to polypropylene such as copolymers of ethylene and dialkylalkyl esters of acrylic acid or methacrylate, copolymers consisting of a single dialkylaminoalkyl acrylic ester of butbometacrylic and alkyl esters of acrylic acid and methacrylic copolymer of 2-vinylpyridine and acid. acrylic or methacrylic, polyamine triazoles, polyamide ureas, copolyamides, piperazine co-polycondensates, acrylic acid alkyl esters and hexamethylenediamine, and others. Before spinning, 8 wt.% Of the propylene melt is added to the melt. of a methacrylic acid / ethylene diethylalkylaminoethanol copolymer with an amine nitrogen content of 2.2% in the melt, representing 0.176 wt. this nitrogen in the fiber. The two melts are homogenized in a dynamic mixer and the mixed melt is fibrillated at 260 ° C to filaments that deposit at 6 ° d at 120 ° C in a 1: 4 split ratio.
In a similar manner, a fiber is prepared where polypropylene containing 1 wt. Polyethylene glycol average molecular weight 6,000 and the same modifier at a concentration of 7% w / w. The fiber prepared under the same conditions will be subjected to surface dyeing with acid dyes, such as Tumor Blue E, Tumor Red PRS, Suminol East Blue PR, Suminol Milling Scarlet G at 2% w / w the fiber in the bath pH 4 and the aromatic ester carrier at 0.2% by weight of the fibers.
Podobné bolí vyfarbené i vlákna bez polyetylén-glykolu. Vlákno obsahujúce polyetylénglykols molekulovou hmotnosťou 6000 sa vyfarbilosýtejšie a rýchlejšie pri použití horeuvedenýchfarbív, kúpef po farbení bol úplné vytažený a pre-farbenie prierezu vlákna uvádzanými farbivamibolo váčšie ako vidieť z nasledujúcej tabulky č. 1.Similarly, dyed fibers without polyethylene glycol are similar. Fiber containing polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 6000 is more dye-colored and faster when using the above-mentioned dyes, the dyeing bath was completely drawn out and the fiber cross-section indicated by farbivamibole was more extensive than shown in Table 1 below.
