Abstract
The subject of the invention is a method of dosing plating solutions, e.g. silvering, gilding, on small glass semi-finished products, e.g. in the jewelry industry. The plating solution is dosed according to the size of the specific surface of the refined semi-finished products and the dose of metal in the solution is in the range from 0.5 g to 500 g per 1 m2 of the specific surface of the refined semi-finished products. The invention can be used in all fields dealing with reduction plating of small objects, for which the size of the specific surface can be determined.
Description
The invention relates to a method for dispensing metallization solutions, for example silver, gold, and glass, for small glass blanks, for example in the jewelery industry.
V bižutérním průmyslu dosud známé způsoby stříbření vycházejí při stanovení dávek stříbřících roztoků z tradice. Dávka stříbřících roztoků např. u perliček, do kterých řadíme rokajl, dvoukrátky, čípky a obdobné výrobky, vychází z jmenovité velikosti těchto perliček, případně délky trubiček a nerespektuje skutečný měrný povrch perliček. The known silvering methods in the jewelery industry are based on tradition in determining the silver solution doses. The dose of silvering solutions, for example, seed beads, double beads, suppositories and similar products, is based on the nominal size of these beads or the length of the tubes and does not respect the actual specific surface of the beads. The dosing of the silvering solutions is carried out in such a way that the excess volume of the beads is flooded with excess.
tt
The disadvantage of all these plating methods is that the dose of the plating solutions is adapted only to the nominal size, i.e. the diameter or length of the glass blank, thereby varying the thickness of the metal layer on the blank, high consumption of precious metals, increasing metal recovery costs. and due to the need to remove the silver layer from the surface, for example, with beads, to prolong the silvering technology times. The metal layers formed on the blanks are unnecessarily thick. They do not influence the improvement of the quality of the treatment and do not correspond to the possibilities of high corrosion resistance of the subsequently created protective layers.
All these drawbacks are eliminated by the fact that a batch of refined blanks of different shapes and sizes is dosed with a plating solution in an amount proportional to the size of the plating surface of the batch, with from 1 to 50 liters of the plating solution and in the solution ranging from 0.5 g to 500 g per 1 n? specific surface of treated semi-finished products.
An advantage of the invention is that it is dosed according to the specific surface area of the blanks, so that the same thickness of the metal layer can always be ensured for different shapes and sizes of beads, stones, Christmas decorations, etc. and optimize this layer. This saves precious metals on semi-finished products, reduces the amount of working solutions in production, reduces the requirements for regeneration of plating solutions, etc.
Another advantage is that the invention also applies to an assortment of beads in which only the hole is silvered. Similarly, the invention applies | for an assortment of imitation jewelery stones and similar products in which only the part of the stones which is not covered by the fixture is silvered.
Použití vynálezu je patrné z níže uvedených příkladů dávkování pokovovacích roztoků.The use of the invention is evident from the examples of metering solution dosing given below.
Příklady provedeníExamples
Dispense 5.9 l of silvering solution per 50 kg of size 5/0 beads, i.e., beads of nominal diameter 4.5 mm with a specific surface area of 0.736 m / kg, and are silvered while moving in a drum at a speed of 60 rpm.
