Nástrojová ocel vhodná pro výrobu výkonných nástrojů na zpracování dřeva, zejména kotoučových a pasových pil. Ocel obsahující v hmotnostním množství uhlík 0,80 az 1,00 *, mangan 0,30 až 0,60 56, chrom 0,30 až 0,50 56, vanad 0,15 až 0,30 56, fosfor max. 0,030 56, síru max. 0,030 56, obsahuje dále od 0,70 do 1,00 56 křemíku a 0,02 až 0,50 % niklu.Tool steel suitable for the production of powerful woodworking tools, especially circular and band saws. Steel containing by weight carbon 0.80 to 1.00 *, manganese 0.30 to 0.60 56, chromium 0.30 to 0.50 56, vanadium 0.15 to 0.30 56, phosphorus max 0.030 56 , sulfur max. 0.030 56, further contains from 0.70 to 1.00 56 silicon and 0.02 to 0.50% nickel.
The invention relates to tool steel suitable for the production of powerful woodworking tools, in particular circular and band saws.
Při kalení těchto oceli do oleje so zpravidla nedosahuje požadované prokalitolnosti a tvrdosti. Woodworking tools have so far been manufactured from unalloyed or moderately alloyed manganese, chrome and vanadium tool steels. For circular and band saws are used eg tool steels 19 418, 19 419, 19 428 or steels DIN 1 830, 1 840 etc. These steels usually contain 0.6 to 0.9% carbon, 0.2 to 2.0 % manganese, 0.10 to 0.40%, respectively. 1.0 to 2.0% silicon, 0.4 to 0.7% cftrom, 0.05 to 0.20% vanadium. The chemical composition is chosen so that the tool has good cutting properties, wear resistance, dimensional stability and high toughness at a strength of 1600 to 2100 MPa. In addition, the woodworking tool is required to maintain its shape, prescribed rigidity and flexibility at high cutting speeds and elevated temperatures. The chemical composition of the steel grades used so far does not guarantee reliable achievement of uniform fine-grained microstructures, from which other tool properties are derived. When hardening these steels into oil, they generally do not reach the required hardenability and hardness. When the tool is heated to working temperatures during cutting, the hardness is reduced, thereby reducing cutting properties and greater wear. Heating the tool during an operation often deforms it, reducing the tool life. In order to improve the cutting properties, in some cases, tungsten is added to the steel. molybdenum, which increases the cost of tool production. For steels with a silicon content above 1%, the solidification of the steel in ingots weighing more than 3 t results in increased segregation of elements along the height and cross-section of the ingot. This chemical heterogeneity is not removed by longer processing, ingots through billets and hot rolled sheets. Chemical heterogeneity results in increased warping of the tool during its heat treatment and during its own exploitation at increased working temperature. The high silicon content increases the carbon activity of the steel during the heating of the flat rolled products as well as the actual heat treatment of the tools, thereby increasing the decarburization depth and also products with total decarburization of the surface layers.
Uvedené nedostatky odstraňuje nová nástrojová ocel podle vynálezu, obsahující v hmotnostním množství uhlík 0,80 až 1,00 %, mangan 0,30 až 0,60 %, chrom 0,30 až 0,50 %, vanad 0,15 až 0,30 $, fosfor max. 0,030 %, síru max. 0,030 5É. Podstata vynálezu spočívá v tom, že ocel dále obsahuje 0,70 až 1,00 % křemíku a 0,02 až 0,50 % niklu. These drawbacks are overcome by the novel tool steel according to the invention, containing by weight carbon 0.80 to 1.00%, manganese 0.30 to 0.60%, chromium 0.30 to 0.50%, vanadium 0.15 to 0. 30 $, phosphorus max 0.030%, sulfur max 0.030 5É. The principle of the invention is that the steel further comprises 0.70 to 1.00% silicon and 0.02 to 0.50% nickel.
8 % a kontrakce min. 25 %· Vymezené rozmezí obsahu křemíku v oceli podle vynálezu zaručuje výrobu oceli v ingotech do 5 t s přípustnou segregací prvků a výrobu plechu bez rozeznatelných chemických nestejnorodostí. The tool steel according to the invention has a guaranteed hardenability according to SSN 42 0447, expressed by the hardener index J 750-5. At 400 ° C, it retains a hardness of 50 HRc. The steel excels in very high mechanical properties, eg when tempering at 460 ° C, the yield strength ranges from 1,620 to 1,720 MPa, grease strength 1,670 to 1,810 MPa, ductility min. 8% and contraction min. 25% · The limited range of silicon content of the steel according to the invention guarantees the production of steel in ingots up to 5 t with permissible segregation of elements and the production of sheet metal without recognizable chemical heterogeneity. The combination of nickel, vanadium and silicon content in the steel creates the conditions for the formation of large amounts of crystallization nuclei and thus the fine-grain structure of the steel throughout the processing process down to the finished product. The steel according to the invention achieves a degree of decarburization comparable to that of commonly used steels containing chromium and limited silicon content, for example steel 19 418. Total decarburization has not been detected during steel processing. Tools made of this steel, in particular the circular saw blade, do not collapse during heat treatment and during operation even at elevated temperatures up to 300 ° C and retain their shape.
