Abstract
The invention relates to a cross heat exchange insert made of metal foil and solves the issue of reducing the weight of the heat exchanger by eliminating the reinforcing strips on the inlet and outlet edges. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the insert is composed of separate parts made of metal foil so that on each side of the heat exchange surface along both opposite sides of its circumference there are locks made of metal foil material of the same mirror-oriented profile.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cross-wound metal foil liner and addresses the issue of reducing the heat exchanger weight by eliminating reinforcing bars at the inlet and outlet edges. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention is based on the fact that the liner is composed of separate parts made of a metal foil such that, on each side of the heat exchange surface, the locks of the same mirror-oriented profile are formed from the metal foil material along the two opposite sides of its periphery.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cross-wound metal foil insert. In the known solutions of cross heat exchangers which utilize a metal foil as the heat transfer surface, it is provided with reinforcing bars on the inlet and outlet edges to provide channels. A disadvantage of such a construction is that the reinforcing bars share a significant proportion of the total weight of the heat exchanger, so that replacement of the plates with the film does not bring about a significant weight gain.
The aforementioned drawbacks are eliminated by a cross-wound metal foil insert according to the invention, which essentially consists of separate parts made of a metal foil such that, on each side of the heat exchange surface along the two opposing edges of its circumference, locks of the same mirror-oriented orientation are formed from the metal foil material. profile.
By eliminating reinforcing elements and replacing them with locks formed by bending the metal foil, the weight of the exchanger is reduced. In addition, the heat transfer surface will take the form of a removable insert, which will simplify operation, namely when recovering heat from the polluted exhaust air.
The accompanying figures show an example of a cross-section of a metal foil cross-over liner, where a separate part is shown in FIG. 1, and the interconnection of two separate parts prior to joining is shown in FIG. 2, and the formation of a heat-exchange liner is shown in FIG. joining individual separate parts. The cross-exchange liner consists of separate panels 1 made of metal foils such that on each side of the heat exchange surface 2 the two opposing sides of its circumference are formed with a metal foil material 3 of the same, mirror-oriented profile. The metal foil cross-sectional liner (Fig. 3) is formed from separate parts 1 by sequentially locking the locks 3. Locking of the locks 3 is accomplished by tangentially moving two adjacent individual parts 1 from the initial unsymmetrical j position to the final position (Fig. 2).
