Abstract

The device is intended primarily for the transport of horses and cattle for the needs of veterinary services. The transport is ensured by two workers, including loading and unloading of the lying animal. The method of easy handling consists in rolling the lying animal into a dorsal position onto a folding platform (using ropes tied to the legs) and folding the platform with the animal into a transport position (using a lifting device) onto the chassis. This device can also be transported with the animal on a truck, and it can also be used as a mobile operating table for veterinary medicine in the area of large animals.

Description

The invention relates to a tilting conveyor for large lying animals.

Mechanization equipment is not yet commonly produced and used to transport a large lying animal from the stables to a car, to a veterinary hospital, with a limited number of moderately fit workers. Mostly, a variety of tarpaulins and straw are used, in which the animal is towed in a noncultural manner by a considerable number of workers. There is an injury to animals and an increased risk of injury to workers handling the animal.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The lifting and lowering device of the tilting platform is mounted on the bogie and is mounted on the bogie in pins and is provided with two pulleys for two ropes and harnesses with a strap.

The advantage of the device lies in the possibility of loading, transporting and folding the lying large animal by two workers in a cultural and safe way for both the animal and the transporter. The device can be transported with an animal on a truck and can be used in open terrain and in stables.

The drawings show diagrams of the operating positions of the device according to the invention, in which Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the device in a transport position and Fig. 2 shows a device with a tilted platform. Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6 show schematically the method of loading an animal.

On the steerable chassis 1 with drawbar at the front and with the eye for the tow rope at the rear, the hinged platform 2 with the prolana 3 pulleys, with harnesses 4 for the strap 5 is mounted on the pins.

The device according to the invention is positioned parallel to the lying animal 7 (FIG. 3) from the side of the animal's back at a distance such that the animal's back position is achieved after the animal has been placed on the platform 2. Extending the supports 8 ensures the stability of the animal loading device. The folding platform 2 is folded into. vertical position (fig. 4). To the animal 7, the loops of ropes 3 are fastened to the front and rear legs. By pulling the opposite ends of the ropes, the animal is rolled up the n-and folding platform to the dorsal position (Fig. 5). The ropes are secured on the harnesses (not shown) on the other side of the platform and thus the legs are secured. The head of the animal is fixed to the front harnesses 4 with a strap 5 (FIG. 2). By means of the lifting device 6, the folding platform 2 with the animal 7 is swiveled to the transport position (FIG. 6), where the animal body is still fixed by the platform on the back side and the supporting frame 9, on the abdomen side. By inserting the supports 8, the device is ready for transport. Unloading the animal is done in reverse sequence.

The collapsible transporter of large lying animals can be used in veterinary hospitals, in large-capacity cowsheds, horse and cattle breeding stations, n-and slaughterhouses, in rendering plants, etc. The device can also be used as a mobile operating table for large animals by the veterinary service.

Tilting container for large lying animals, consisting of a chassis fitted with telescopic supports, a drawbar for manual towing and a tow rope eye, characterized in that a lifting and lowering device (6) of the folding platform (2) is attached to the chassis (1). It is supported by two pulleys for two ropes (3) and harnesses (4) with a strap (5).
