Rozprestieracie miešadlo na kontinuálně premiešavanie, dávkovanie a rozprestieranie suspenzných, kvapalných aj sypkých hmot v priemysle i v poinohospodárstve potřebuje velmi málo energie a vykonává tri fúnkcie, a to miešanie, dávkovanie aj rozprestieranie polnohospodárskych hnojív na povrchu i pod povrch půdy, okrem toho urovnává a válcuje půdu. Podstata rozprestieracieho miešadla spočívá vo válci, ktorý sa volné odvaluje po povrchu plochy, kde sa má rozprestrieť miešaná hmota, pričom vo vnútri valca sú korečky, ktoré ju premiešavajú a cez osu valca dávkujú.
