The solution deals with the problem of detecting leaks in steam generators with liquid sodium by indicating gas bubbles that are formed during the reaction of water with sodium. The indication is based on the evaluation of signals from three electrodes on a sodium pipe placed in a magnetic field using electronic circuits. The invention can be used primarily in nuclear power.

Description

Vynález se týká zapojení indikace plynových bublin v tekutém sodíku proudícím v potrubí.The present invention relates to the connection of an indication of gas bubbles in liquid sodium flowing in a pipe.

V systémech kontroly těsnosti parních generátorů s tekutým sodíkem se pro spolehlivou indikaci porušení těsnosti teplosměnné plochy a tím i průniku vody /vodní páry/ do sodíku využívá řady nezávislých fyzikálních a chemických metod, např. sledování koncentrace vodíku v sodíku a v argonu vyrovnávací nádrže, sledování akustických šumů parogenerátoru, měření tlaku argonu ve vyrovnávací nádrži a sledování fluktuace průtoku sodíku. Cílem současného použití několika metod je zvýšení spolehlivosti signalizace při vysoké citlivosti a krátké době zpoždění. Jednou z rychle reagujících metod je sledování fluktuace průtoku sodíku.In the leak detection systems for liquid sodium steam generators, a number of independent physical and chemical methods are used to reliably indicate the leakage of the heat transfer surface and thereby water / water vapor / sodium penetration, eg monitoring the hydrogen concentration in sodium and argon buffer tanks, monitoring acoustic noise of steam generator, measurement of argon pressure in buffer tank and monitoring of fluctuation of sodium flow. The aim of the simultaneous use of several methods is to increase the reliability of signaling at high sensitivity and short delay time. One of the fast responding methods is to monitor the fluctuation of sodium flow.

The disadvantage of this method is that it is relatively poorly sensitive and can indicate moderate and large leaks. A certain sensitivity increase can be achieved by statistically processing the flowmeter signals sequentially, but at the cost of a significantly more expensive and complex evaluation apparatus with a longer evaluation time.

These drawbacks are substantially eliminated by the wiring for indicating gas bubbles in liquid sodium flowing in the duct, which indicates gas bubbles generated by the ingress (vapor water) into the sodium. The principle of the indication of gas bubbles in liquid sodium flowing in a pipeline according to the invention consists in that three horizontal electrodes are placed vertically on a horizontal part of a flowing sodium tube placed in a magnetic field, with a common electrode on the lower surface of the flowing sodium tube. the upper surface of the pipeline with sodium flowing symmetrically about a vertical axis passing through the common electrode at a distance of 1 is the differential electrode and the differential electrode and the common electrode are connected to the ground terminal and the differential electrodes are connected to the differential inputs of the differential amplifier. rectifier and low pass filter with signal output terminals.

During the measurement performed on the stand, it was experimentally confirmed that the formation of gas bubbles in the flowing sodium generates alternating voltage across the electrodes, which after adjustment by the described electronic circuits corresponds to the amount of water / water vapor penetration. of sodium increases by at least one order. Another significant advantage of said circuitry is that it is less sensitive to changing operating parameters of the steam generator.

Střídavá složka je usměrněna usměrňovačem a k dalšímu měření upravena dolnopropustným filtrem. The electrodes located on the top surface are symmetrically spaced from the vertical axis passing through the bottom at a total distance smaller than the diameter of the sodium flow pipe. The signal of the electrodes is amplified by a differential amplifier, and the disturbing DC component of the high-pass signal is removed from the amplified signal. The AC component is rectified by a rectifier and treated for further measurement by a low-pass filter.

The circuit according to the invention is shown in the attached figure. Electrodes are placed vertically on the horizontal portion of the sodium flow pipe 4 in the magnetic field, with a common electrode 1 on the lower surface of the sodium flow pipe 4 and on the upper surface of the sodium flow pipe 4 symmetrically around the vertical electrode 11 in vertical direction. a differential electrode 2 and a differential electrode 2 and a common electrode are connected to the ground terminal 5 and the differential electrodes 2,3 are connected to the differential inputs 6.7 of the differential amplifier 8, followed by cascading the high-pass filter 9, the rectifier 10 and a low pass filter 11 with signal output terminals 12, 13.
