Abstract
The subject of the solution is a method of performing monolithic thermal insulation, especially for industrial furnaces, from fibrous refractory materials. The essence of the solution lies in the fact that the fibrous refractory material is prepared by dividing or continuing individual fibers into small clusters with free spatial orientation of individual fibers and is transported to the application site*, while in the space between the mouth of the transport hose and the application site it passes through a mist of sprayed liquid binder, with which it is coated and adhered to the base of the thermal aggregate.
Description
The invention relates to a process for the production of monolithic thermal insulations, in particular for industrial furnaces and similar thermal aggregates, from fibrous refractory materials applied by machine onto a substrate.
V současné době se tepelné izolace a žáruvzdorné vyzdívky tepelných zařízeni provádějí především z klasických žárovzdorných materiálů anebo obklady z vláknitých materiálů. At present, thermal insulation and refractory linings of thermal equipment are mainly made of classical refractory materials or lining of fibrous materials. These fibrous materials are available as boards, mats, paper, fittings and possibly other similar products.
The refractory fibrous material is fixed to the substrate either by gluing or by needling on anchor pins with clips and ceramic heads and other special anchor systems.
The disadvantages of these solutions are the relatively high laboriousness of the assembly, the high waste of material during the adaptation of the fiber products to the geometrical shapes of the thermal equipment, and in general the great difficulty and complexity of cladding the complex structural elements of these aggregates. Further disadvantages are manifested in damage losses, in particular of the fiber product sheets when transported from the manufacturer to the point of installation.
Tím dochází k destrukci vláknitého podkladu a ke snížení životnosti tepelné izolace. V současné době byly v praxi započaty i pokusy se strojním nanášením izolačních vláknitých vyzdívek.A serious disadvantage of the thermal insulations thus formed is that the lengthy shrinkage of the fibrous insulating material is relatively large, so that after heating to the operating temperature, joints are formed through which the heat penetrates into the lower layers of the insulating lining or possibly to the jacket of the thermal device. This destroys the fibrous substrate and reduces the lifetime of the thermal insulation. At present, attempts have been made in practice to apply machine-applied insulating fiber linings.
Odstranění těchto nedostatků vyžaduje přerušování práce a tím dochází ke snížení její produktivity. Takto vytvořená vyzdívka není homogenní, což má záporný vliv na její životnost. One known possibility is to transport the dry fibers to the outlet nozzle, where the mixing takes place with the insulating fibrous material itself and the moistened fibrous insulating material is deposited on the substrate of the heat aggregate. The main disadvantage of this solution is the imperfect wetting and saturation of the fibrous insulating material with a binder and clogging of the outlet nozzle with insulating material which is glued inside. Removing these shortcomings requires interrupting work and thus reducing productivity. The lining thus formed is not homogeneous, which has a negative effect on its service life.
Another known method is to apply gravel sealant as an adhesive backing layer to an insulated substrate on which the dry fibrous material is then deposited.
However, this method requires two basic technical operations for the entire lining design, which increases the cost of the lining and reduces labor productivity. In this way, it is not possible to apply insulating layers for common needs, i.e., a few centimeters in thickness, since the applied fiber itself does not contain a binder and is therefore no longer able to bind another layer of sprayed refractory insulating fibers.
These disadvantages are eliminated by the method of the monolithic thermal insulation according to the invention, which consists in that the fibrous refractory material is treated by splitting or shortening the individual fibers into small clusters with a free spatial orientation of the individual fibers and transported in front of the application point. through the mouth of the conveying hose and through the application point it passes through the fluid binder nebula, which envelops and adheres to the substrate of the heat aggregate.
Uvedené řešení zabezpečuje minimální materiálové náklady, nebot používané vláknité suroviny jsou lacinější než vláknité výrobky, přičemž při využití vynálezu lze používat druhotných surovin, zejména odpadu ve výrobě vláknitých výrobků. Způsob podle vynálezu nevykazuje v podstatě žádný odpad ani zbytky, je mimořádně rychlý a umožňuje tedy i zkrácení výstavby vyzdívek pecních agregátů.This solution ensures minimal material costs, since the fibrous raw materials used are cheaper than the fibrous products, and secondary raw materials, in particular waste materials, can be used in the manufacture of the fibrous products. The process according to the invention exhibits essentially no waste or residues, is extremely fast and thus also allows the construction of furnace lining to be shortened.
' Takto vytvořená monolitická žárovzdorná vyzdívka vykazuje i vyšší životnost, neboř ani po Opakovaném provozním tepelném zatížení nedochází k vytváření spár z důvodů smrštění vláknitého materiálu a tím ani k úniku tepla do spodních vrstev vyzdívky, případně až na vnější stěnu tepelného agregátu.The monolithic refractory lining thus produced also exhibits a longer service life, since even after repeated operating heat loads, no joints are formed due to the shrinkage of the fibrous material and thus no heat leakage to the lower layers of the lining or even to the outer wall of the heat generator.
Especially high labor productivity can be achieved by using this solution for rugged thermal aggregates and during their repairs. Also, a perfect wetting of the fibers with the binder contributes to an increase in the service life of the lining.
Při příkladném provedení žárovzdorné vyzdívky bylo použito odpadu keramického žárovzdorného vlákna s délkou jednotlivých vláken do dvou centimetrů a jednotlivé smotky vláken nepřesahovaly objem dvou cm3. Jako pojivo byl použit koloidní oxid křemičitý ve 28% roztoku ve vodě s maximálním obsahem oxidu sodného 0,4 hmotnostního %.In an exemplary refractory lining, a refractory ceramic fiber having a single fiber length of up to two centimeters was used and the individual fiber coils did not exceed a volume of two cm 3 . Colloidal silica in a 28% solution in water with a maximum sodium oxide content of 0.4% by weight was used as the binder.
The fiber was conveyed in a dry state foam and, after leaving the exit nozzle, passed through a binder nebula, which was created by a special device in the region between the exit nozzle and the substrate on which the refractory insulating linings were formed.
In this way, a 7 cm layer of refractory insulation with a density of 260 kg.m 3 was formed. The construction of this lining does not require any special modification of the base material and is suitable for all known types of these materials only after normal surface cleaning.
Takto lze provádět nové žárovzdorné vyzdívky, jejich opravy, a to i v kombinaci s jinými druhy žáruvzdorných vyzdívek. In this way, new refractory linings can be made and repaired, even in combination with other types of refractory linings.
