Abstract

Během celého procesu pájení, až do vychladnutí vsázky na 150 °C, se tlak v recipientu udržuje v hodnotách 5 až 10 Pa.The purpose of the solution is to replace the previously used methods of fastening silver-graphite contacts and eliminate their shortcomings. The method is suitable mainly for mass production due to its simplicity, reliability, low energy consumption and saving of precious metals. The technology of hard soldering consists in loading individual parts of the contact set into multi-part graphite molds in the following order: Silver-graphite contact with the solderable layer up, soldering foil made of hard solder suitable for vacuum soldering with a melting temperature lower than n< 785 °C, contact holder usually made of di, galvanically nickel-plated. After loading the charge and closing the recipient, the pressure is reduced to 10 Pa and the furnace is heated to 100% of the solder melting temperature. This temperature is maintained for 45 to 60 minutes with a tolerance of + 0.5%. After this delay, the temperature is increased to 100% of the solder melting temperature and maintained within a tolerance of +0.5% for ten to fifteen minutes. During the entire soldering process, until the charge has cooled to 150 °C, the pressure in the recipient is maintained at 5 to 10 Pa.

Description

Vynález řeší způsob tvrdého pájení stříbrografitových kontaktů, které jsou vyrobeny práškovou metalurgií a opatřeny podvrstvou pájitelného kovu, v elektrické vakuové peci. The invention solves a method of brazing silver-graphite contacts which are made by powder metallurgy and provided with a solderable metal layer in an electric vacuum furnace.

Hitherto known methods of attaching these contacts to the holder are: brazing by flame, resistance flame, resistance or induction heating, resistance welding or mechanical fastening by rolling or crimping into a metal tray. The choice of attachment method depends on the type and shape of the brackets and the possibility of their thermal loading during attachment technology. Flame or induction brazing can be used for holders that are relatively massive and can be heated to the braze melting point, which is almost 800 ° C, over a longer period of time. Resistance soldering and welding heats beams for a shorter time, but it has a number of other drawbacks. Difficult orientation of the contact on the beam, considerable fluctuation of the working temperature due to changes in conductivity and electrode pressure, which is limited by the strength of the contact in the heated state. Another drawback is the different quality of the joint in terms of strength. There are also blows of solder or even molten metal from the contact body, at the joints and often on the contact surface. Another disadvantage of these methods is the demanding maintenance and adjustment of the electrodes and the high energy consumption.

Thus, these methods are not suitable for mass production. Since the silver-carbon contacts are mainly attached to flexible beams, for example for relays, a method of pressing the contact body into suitable cups which are riveted to the spring is used. This method is relatively simple, suitable for mass production, but has a number of other drawbacks. One is the large consumption of expensive contact material. Since the contact at the junction of the cup with the contact is practically pointed, another disadvantage is the higher transition resistances, which increase due to the oxidation of the contact surfaces and the gradual release of contact in the cup.

Protože jde o kontakty s vysokým obsahem stříbra, nezaručují popsané způsoby připevňování jeho ekonomické využití při hromadné výrobě.□ important equipment, for example in the ČSD security system, these deficiencies must be eliminated more often by revision and repair of switching elements or their decommissioning after a certain period of operation. Since these are high silver contacts, the described fastening methods do not guarantee its economical use in mass production.

Výše uvedené nedostatky odstraní navržený způsob tvrdého pájení stříbrografitových kontaktů v elektrické vakuové peci, vyznačující se tím, že do vícedílných grafitových forem se naloží díly v pořadí stříbrografitový kontakt pájitelnou vrstvou nahoru, pájení fólie z tvrdé pájky vhodné pro vakuové pájení s taviči teplotou nižší než 785 °C, držák kontaktu galvanicky poniklovaný, po uzavření recipientu a snížení tlaku na 10 Pa se pec vyhřeje na 96 % taviči teploty pájky a udržuje se na této hodnotě v toleranci +0,5 %, 45 až 60 minut, potom se teplota zvýší a po dosažení 100 % taviči teploty pájky se udržuje v toleranci +0,5 š po dobu deseti až patnácti minut a tlak v recipientu se behěin celého procesu pájení, až do vychladnutí vsázky na 150 °C, udržuje v hodnotách 5 až 10 Pa.The above-mentioned shortcomings will eliminate the proposed method of brazing silver-graphite contacts in an electric vacuum furnace, characterized in that the multi-part graphite molds are loaded with parts in the silver-graphite contact with a solderable layer upwards. ° C, the contact holder is galvanically nickel-plated, after the receiver has been closed and the pressure is reduced to 10 Pa, the furnace is heated to 96% of the soldering melting temperature and kept at this value within +0.5%, for 45 to 60 minutes, after reaching 100% of the solder melting temperature, it is kept within +0.5 s for ten to fifteen minutes and the pressure in the recipient is maintained at 5-10 Pa during the entire brazing process until the batch has cooled to 150 ° C.

Navržený způsob tvrdého pájení zajištuje dokonalé spojení kontaktu s držákem a umožňuje jednoduché připevnění na jakýkoliv nosník, hlavně na nosníky z pružného tenkého materiálu. Přechodové odpory kontaktů pájených navrženou technologií jsou řádově až desetkrát nižší, než povoluje příslušná norma pro kontakty připevněné zalisováním do misky. Tím stoupne podstatně spolehlivost a životnost zařízení.The proposed method of brazing ensures a perfect connection of contact with the holder and allows easy attachment to any beam, especially to beams of flexible thin material. The contact resistances of the contacts soldered by the proposed technology are up to ten times lower than the applicable standard for contacts fixed by pressing into the cup. This significantly increases the reliability and service life of the device.

Dojde tedy ke snížení nákladů pořizovacích i udržovacích. This technology is used to attach the silver-graphite contacts to the closing springs of the relay for security devices. Increasing reliability will extend the inspection intervals and repair the life of the entire device. This will reduce both acquisition and maintenance costs. This process is particularly suitable for mass production, as it allows soldering up to 10,000 batches at a time, depending on the content of the brazing furnace and the size of the contacts. The energy consumption compared to resistance soldering or welding is substantially lower, about 0.3 W per mm 2 of soldered area.

Dochází tedy k úspoře stříbra oproti původnímu mechanickému uchycení asi o 50 %.The shape and size of the contact can only be selected according to the functional requirement, so the consumption of the contact material is minimal. There is therefore a saving of silver compared to the original mechanical attachment of about 50%.

Zn, Cd).If the technology is adhered to, scrap is practically impossible. The joint is stronger than the base material of the contact and the appearance of the joint is perfect. The contact holders should be used for their technological and electrical properties, although its use limits the soldering temperature to a maximum of 785 ° C and the holders must be nickel-plated. In fact, at a higher temperature, silver is diffused from the solder or from contact to the copper holder. This results in a pseudo-alloy having a substantially lower melting temperature than pure honey and melting the holders during soldering above this temperature. Vacuum brazing is unavoidable for unplated copper. Since brazing is carried out under vacuum, conventional brazing cannot be used for high vapor pressure metals (eg Zn, Cd).

Z tohoto vyplývá úzké rozmezí pájecí teploty, dané jedinou vhodnou u nás vyráběnou pájkou vhodnou pro vakuové pájení s taviči teplotou nižší než 785 °C.This results in a narrow soldering temperature range given by the only solder suitable for vacuum soldering with a melting temperature below 785 ° C.

The method of brazing the silver-graphite contacts produced by powder metallurgy in an electric vacuum furnace is carried out as follows: The contacts of the AgC mixture, provided with a pure silver sublayer, are placed in a graphite form, which is usually composed of two plates. Upper with shaped recesses, which ensure mutual position of contact - solder foil - holder. The bottom plates serve as a washer in which the degassing channels are made so that all of the top holes of the top plates are connected to the free space of the brazing furnace. The inserted contacts are covered with solder foils and the holders usually in the form of a tubular rivet are placed on them. After charging and closing the recipient, it begins to decrease in the brazing chamber and the furnace heating system is switched on at a pressure of about 10 Pa.

Během celého procesu pájení až do ochlazení vsázky na 100 až 150 °C, se udržuje tlak v recipientu na 5 až 10 Pa.Once the pre-heating temperature, which is 96% of the melting point of the solder, has been reached, this temperature is maintained within +0.5% for 45 to 60 minutes. The heating time depends on the weight and the location of the charge. After the dwell time has elapsed, the temperature is raised to 100% of the melting point of the solder and maintained within +0.5% for 10-15 minutes. During the entire brazing process until the batch is cooled to 100 to 150 ° C, the pressure in the recipient is maintained at 5 to 10 Pa.

The proposed soldering method can be used also for sintered contacts from other mixtures, if they do not contain metals with high vapor pressure, also for all-metal contacts. The technology is relatively simple, energy efficient and very favorable, especially for mass production. Contacts can be soldered regardless of shape and size. The entire brazing process can be controlled automatically, without the need for operator qualification.
