Description
Vynález řeší způsob zhotovení volně kovaného výkovku z vícebokého ingotu z austenické oceli se zaručenou ultrazvukovou průchodností povrchových vrstev.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a method for making a forged multi-side forging of austenitic steel with guaranteed ultrasonic patency of surface layers.
The production of large austenitic steel forgings is accompanied by the uncertainty as to whether the semi-finished product will be sufficiently fine-grained and thus ultrasonically permeable. Since it is a steel without recrystallization, the next grain size is decided during the forming process. According to current knowledge, heat treatment has only a minor influence on the grain size. In the same mode of conventional heat treatment, solution annealing, forgings differing in grain size are obtained to a large extent. For some types of forgings, such as paramagnetic tightening rings of MnCr, MnNiCr or MnCrN steel turbo-alternators, an auxiliary operation, which is a cold deformation, is included to refine the grain prior to solution annealing. For other products, such as CrNiTi steel reducer and throat bodies, other low productive thermoforming processes are chosen to eliminate the possibility of coarseness, especially in surface layers and the formation of coarse-grained zones around the forging axis.
The theoretical causes of local coarse grain forgings are inhomogeneous plastic deformation and low degree of deformation in the blank cross section, high recrystallization temperature of the initial ingot casting structure and application of static recrystallization at high temperatures instead of more favorable dynamic recrystallization in each deformation step. Of the technological factors that cannot be reliably controlled, the most negative effect is the decrease in the surface temperature of the ingot or forging between the removal of the blank from the furnace and the start of the forging. The final shape of the forging is often achieved before the restoration processes giving rise to the grain size change can take place, especially in the surface layers, to the extent necessary. In the free forging procedures, the principles of the correct relation between the number of forging heating and deformation steps, on which the structural changes deciding on the next and final grain size, depend strongly, are only naturally and randomly applied.
The aforementioned drawbacks are overcome by the method according to the invention of making a free-forged forging of a multi-sided austenitic steel ingot with guaranteed ultrasonic patency of the surface layers. The multi-sided ingot is overlaid after heating by chamfering to a log, which overlaps into a square after heating. This operation is performed at a minimum height reduction in each deformation step 12.. Next, after heating, quadrate to octagon is carried out with a minimum height reduction of 20% in each deformation step. Each of the heaters reaches an initial molding temperature in the range of 1080 ° C to 1200 ° C. The docking is then carried out at a temperature not exceeding 1080 ° C using a minimum height reduction of 12% in each deformation step.
The process according to the invention achieves both the cross-sectional deformation and the degree of deformation with the aim of promoting the dynamic recrystallization process at a minimum number of high-temperature heating in the initial stages when deciding the extent of destruction of the stable primary casting structure. The method according to the invention does not limit the number of subsequent heating operations in which no further changes occur if the primary casting structure has been broken during the previous forging. During subsequent heating, no coarsening of the previously formed or coexisting fine-grained structure can occur. The method according to the invention avoids the inheritance of the primary casting structure in the surface and subsurface layers of the forging. Furthermore, grain coarsening is prevented by recrystallizing the secondary structure anywhere in the forging volume.
An example of the method according to the invention is the production of a forging with a diameter of 260 mm and a length of 1000 mm by free forging from a starting ingot I 2.2 of 0.05 C 18 Cr 10 Ni Ti steel. In the first heat, the edges of the ingot heated to 1,150 ° C are knocked using straight anvils and the ingot is spiked onto the log, if the heat content of the log and its temperature would allow forging to continue, this option would not be utilized and returned to the furnace. Only after the block has been heated to a temperature of 1,150 ° C, in a further blacksmith's heat, the log begins to shift between straight anvils to a 350 mm square, with a height reduction of at least 12% in each deformation step. An octagon is forged from a 350 mm square in a further forging heat when the blank is reheated to 1,150 ° C before forging and the forging height is reduced by at least 20% in each deformation step. Edge fitting must not start before this heating. In the third heat, however, it is possible to begin octagonal overlapping to a square of 280 mm. Completion of this operation is possible in the fourth heat, whereby the preform only heats to 1,050 ° C to 1,080 ° C. A 280 mm octagon is then forged from the 280 mm square in the same heat. After heating to 1050 [deg.] C. to 1080 [deg.] C. in the fifth heat, the octagon of 280 mm is cut to a final diameter of 260 mm in the bottom saddle anvil.
The invention is particularly applicable to the free forging of heavy forgings of the highest quality required, such as control drive bodies and mass flanges used in the construction of nuclear reactors, shields for electric motors and other corrosion-resistant or paramagnetic components, which must be guaranteed by ultrasonic throughput. using an angle probe.
