Description
Vznikající korozní produkty zhoršují součinitele prostupu tepla teplosměnnou plochou a zvyšují hydraulické odpory. U vod neupravených změkčováním, ale i u vod upravených, u vod s přirozeným obsahem vápenatých a hořečnatých iontů a u vod se sníženými obsahy těchto iontů se spolu s korozními produkty vylučují nerozpustné soli, převážně uhličitan vápenatý, které zvyšují tlouštku úsad a dále zhoršují přestup tepla a proudění.·BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a mixed metal corrosion inhibitor for closed and circulating water sequestration systems with and without access to air, operating at temperatures ranging from 5 ° C to 250 ° C, designed to suppress corrosion of metals insoluble salts. In particular, the reduction of corrosion of steel, cast iron, copper, aluminum, zinc and their alloys is subject to corrosion in the tempering aqueous medium, the form and intensity of which depend in particular on the composition of the aquatic environment, its flow, aeration, temperature and nature metal, its structural connection with other material and the structural design of the system. Corrosion causes the system to leak, reducing the strength of components, thereby reducing their service life and operational reliability. The resulting corrosion products worsen the heat transfer coefficients of the heat exchange surface and increase the hydraulic resistance. In non-softened waters, but also in treated waters, in waters with a natural content of calcium and magnesium ions and in waters with a reduced content of these ions, insoluble salts, predominantly calcium carbonate, are precipitated along with corrosion products, which increase deposit thickness and further deteriorate heat transfer and flow ·
Pro sníženi korozního působení temperačniho prostředí oběhových systémů - vody, případně změkčené, demineralizovaná, destilované nebo s přísadou nemrznoucích kapalin - jsou známy a používány různé jednoduché i směsné inhibitory koroze. Z jednosložkových' inhibitorů jsou známy například chromany, dusitany, fosforečnany, křemičitany, boritany, benzoany různých, zejména alkalických kovů, dále etanolaminy, benztriazol, merkaptobenztriazol a jiné látky.Various simple and mixed corrosion inhibitors are known and used to reduce the corrosion effect of the tempering environment of circulatory systems - water, possibly softened, demineralized, distilled or with the addition of antifreeze. Among the one-component inhibitors, for example, chromates, nitrites, phosphates, silicates, borates, benzoates of various, especially alkali metals, ethanolamines, benztriazole, mercaptobenztriazole and other substances are known.
These substances are also combined in different ways. These known inhibitors have some drawbacks, in particular they are not equally effective on all metals in systems made of several metals, do not have sufficient slip corrosion inhibition activity, are unable to reduce corrosion in the vapor space of the system and favorably influence the deposition of calcium carbonate layers from aqueous solutions. These deficiencies are substantially eliminated by the known mixed corrosion inhibitor according to AO 242 438, which however contains a sodium or potassium nitrite component which causes difficulties in the production of the inhibitor due to its toxicity.
Hodnota pH roztoku inhibitoru se má pohybovat v rozmezí pH 9 až 12.The known inhibitors are improved by the mixed corrosion inhibitor for the closed water circulation systems according to the invention, characterized in that it contains from 10 to 60% by weight. % phosphate ions in the form of a tertiary salt of an alkali metal phosphoric acid, a C 2 -C 8 alkylamine or a C 2 -C 6 alkanolamine, for example trisodium phosphate, triisopropylamine phosphate or triethanolamine phosphate, from 1 to 40 wt. % of hydrogen phosphate ions in the form of a secondary salt of phosphoric acid with an alkali metal, a C 2 -C 8 alkylamine, for example disodium hydrogen phosphate, diisobutylamine hydrogen phosphate or diethanolamine hydrogen phosphate, from 1 to 30 wt. % borate ions, for example in the form of sodium tetraborate, from 1 to 25 wt. % of silicate ions in the form of an alkali metal salt of silicic acid, for example sodium metasilicate, and from 0.1 to 15 wt. an organophosphonic acid derivative, for example sodium nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid. The pH of the inhibitor solution should be in the range of pH 9-12.
The mixed inhibitor according to the invention has a high activity, especially in waters with low salt content or with reduced but some calcium and magnesium salts. its effect on the crevice corrosion control is particularly significant, preventing the formation of insoluble salt layers in calcium-containing waters. It does not require special hygiene measures during production and dosing. Its main field of application is the water temperature circuits in the rubber and plastics industry, where in the individual stages of production the devices are first heated by the water circuit and in the following phase cooled. It is also used in metallurgy, engineering and chemistry in evaporative cooling. It can also be used in other areas, for example in the cooling circuits of motor vehicles.
The inhibitor is dosed in water or aqueous solutions in an amount of 0.5 to 10 g.l * as a powder or a concentrated aqueous solution. The pH of the conditioned medium is 9.0 to 12 and is checked in a conventional manner. The inhibitor content in the environment is controlled by the phosphate ion content and the amount of organically bound phosphorus.
