Abstract
The insulating body serves mainly for an electric storage water heater. It consists of a basic insulating material, bounded on the inside by an inner surface f and on the outside by an outer surface. The problem to be solved is to improve the thermal insulation properties of the insulating body. This is achieved by creating cavities in the basic insulating material filled with a gas with a lower specific thermal conductivity than the basic insulating material.
Description
Vynález sa týká izolačného telesa, najmá pre elektrické ohrievače vody, pozostávajúce zo základnej izolačnej hmoty, ohraničenej zvnútra vnútornou plochou a zvonku vonkajšou plochou.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The invention relates to an insulating body, particularly for electric water heaters, consisting of a base insulating material bounded from the inside by an inner surface and an outer surface from the outside.
Podlá známého stavu techniky bývá izolačně teleso elektrických ohrievačov vody najčastejšie vyhotovené z tvrdej polyuretánovej pěny, minerálnej vlny, sklenej vaty, polystyrénu a pod., pričom izolačná hmota bývá obvykle homogénna. According to the known state of the art, the insulating body of electric water heaters is usually made of hard polyurethane foam, mineral wool, glass wool, polystyrene etc., whereby the insulating mass is usually homogeneous. In order to improve the insulating properties, they are searched and developed for insulating materials with the lowest specific thermal conductivity. The known technologies for the manufacture of insulating materials are close to their limits in this respect, but the heat losses of such insulating bodies are still relatively high. A substantial reduction in heat losses can be achieved by a vacuum insulating body, which is associated with implementation problems for the application of heat storage appliances.
1 představuje nárysný rez izolačného telesa a obr. 2 jeho pódorysný rez v stredovej rovině.The above-mentioned disadvantages are adequately removed by the insulating body according to the invention, the principle being that cavities filled with gas of lower specific thermal conductivity than the basic insulating mass are formed in the base insulating mass. The advantage of the insulating body according to the invention is a better insulating capacity of the body and, consequently, a reduced energy consumption of the appliance on which the insulating body is used, while its production is less demanding than in vacuum insulating bodies. An example of an embodiment of an insulating body according to the invention is shown in the drawing, in which FIG. 1 is a sectional view of the insulating body and FIG.
