Abstract

This equipment permits an ongoing sensing of lengths of the bar stock and its division into groups based on the length. With known equipment, for identifying lengths and the subsequent sorting of the material into the groups according to lengths, a system of contact sensors is used. The new solution uses contact-less sensors and stores the sorted stock on an ongoing basis in an automatic regime, into tanks based on the groups. The data obtained is used for computerised stock evidence and material for pre-manufacture preparation.
