Abstract

This solution concerns non-destructive control using acoustic emission signals, and may be used for checking fatigue cracks in structures to test cyclic load. The purpose thereof is an increase in accuracy on the account of measuring moment standards of the fatigue cracks. In order to ensure a comparing ratio between the acoustic emission signals and tension or deformation coefficient, the sample subject to the comparison is burdened until the crack therein reaches critical dimensions (size), while acoustic emission signals are measured. The sample is statically finished and the coefficient of tension or destruction intensity is determined according to the measured increase of fatigue marks in a crack. Thereafter, the checked product is then loaded cyclically, and the tension or destruction intensity and acoustic emission signals are measured. A kinetic parameter of the product fatigue crack is then assessed.
