Abstract

The purpose of the mixture for the preparation of an auto-adhesive polyvinyl chloride-based foil with a controlled diffusion of an adhesive is to increase the auto adhesion of packaging foils. The above-mentioned purpose is achieved by the use of 93 to 99 % by weight of polyvinyl chloride, 0.5 to 3.5 % by weight of dibutyl phthalate and 0.5 to 3.5 % by weight of natural colophony or glycerine triabietate. The mixture for the preparation of the auto-adhesive polyvinyl chloride-based foil with the controlled diffusion of the adhesive agent can be applied to the packaging technique industry.

The present invention relates to a composition for the preparation of a polyvinyl chloride-based outoadhesive film with controlled diffusion of the adhesive.

The prior art self-adhesive fixation packaging films are made on the basis of polymers such as polyolefins, polyvinyl chloride, or polyolefins. copolymers such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, by additivating agents that provide repeated autoadhesion when the film is pressed. A known autoadhesive additive is, for example, polyvinylbutyral, which is present in an amount of 0.05 wt. % to the branched polyethylene, but the autoadhesion of the film prepared from the resulting blend is relatively low.

Autoadhesion of the polyvinyl chloride films can be increased by the addition of 2 to 5 wt. % glycerin monolauryldiacetate, wherein the plasticizer used is rope or soybean oil. Low film self-sticking can be achieved by modifying polyvinyl chloride with a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer with the addition of a low molecular weight epoxy resin.

Natural rosin based on oC-pimaric acid or abietic acid as well as other resins, e.g. formaldehyde, coumarone are used as one of the components of solution rubber adhesives. After repeatedly applying these adhesives to, for example, metals, the solution adhesive was evaporated, and then the other prepared surface was pressed and glued fM. Barn: Working with adhesives and sealants, SNTL, p. 79 (1982) 3 · These joints have a relatively high strength, but polyvinyl chloride cannot be glued in this way. Another disadvantage is that the bonding is laborious, harmful to health and sometimes depending on the type of solvent (acetone, toluene, solvent gasoline) there is a risk of explosion, respectively. fire.

Samotná kolofónia v zmesi s polyvinylchloridom nezvyšuje adhéziu a přitom zhoršuje fyzikálno-mechanické vlastnosti polyméru.The colophony itself in admixture with polyvinyl chloride does not increase adhesion and at the same time deteriorates the physico-mechanical properties of the polymer.

% dibutylftalátu a 3,5 hmot. Я prírodnej kolofónie alebo glycerid triabietátu.The above-mentioned disadvantages are substantially eliminated by the polyvinyl chloride-based self-adhesive film composition with controlled diffusion of the adhesive, which consists in that the composition consists of 93 to 99 wt. % Polyvinyl chloride, 0.5 to 3.5 wt. % dibutyl phthalate and 3.5 wt. Kol natural rosin or triabietate glyceride.

The advantage of the diffusion-controlled polyvinyl chloride-based film preparation with controlled diffusion is its simplicity, good workability, economic advantage over previously used films, and the fact that there is no need to change technology or modify existing equipment for producing the films in question.

The desired adhesion effect was achieved according to the proposed solution due to the synergistic effect of the low molecular weight substance and resin system. This binary system also fulfills the further condition that it is physically incompatible with the polymer matrix, which makes it possible to achieve that even a relatively small amount of the additive applied in the mass, which still does not impair the physical-mechanical properties of the film, especially to increase autoadhesion.
