Abstract

The solution can be applied to the electro-technical industry for the production of cable links, or for the isolation of metallic surfaces of moulded products and for anti-corrosion protection. By this production method according to the solution, radial dilatation exceeding the ratio of 1:3.5 is achieved as well as the reduction of waste during the production process. Hoses with a higher dilatation ratio enable the accordance of the dimension set of hoses used for the links of the communicating cables with the dimension set of the sleeves used for the repairs of the hose connections. In the first dilatation phase the hose is dilated to multiples of 2 to 3.5 of its original diameter. Then comes the second phase consisting of sliding the dilated hose on a pin with a diameter narrower by 1 to 5 mm than the hose diameter, of its heating up to 140 to 180 degrees C and of the dilatation, by which 1.5 to 3.5 the multiple of dilatation of the hose diameter, after the first dilatation phase is achieved.

Description

Vynález rieší diskontinuálny sposob rozťahovania teplom zmraštiteTných hadic zo zosieteného polyolefinů.The invention solves the discontinuous method of stretching heat-shrinkable polyolefin hoses.

So far, two methods of producing heat-shrinkable tubing have been used predominantly. In the first method, the hoses are produced by applying an air pressure from the inside to the walls of the pre-heated preformed blanks, thereby forming them into the desired shape. After cooling in the expanded state, they retain this new shape until reheated in practical application. In the second method of manufacture, the desired shape of the hoses is achieved by applying a vacuum to the outside of the hoses. The disadvantage of both of these methods is that they do not achieve the maximum possible radial expansion values of the heat-shrinkable tubing depending on the material used, or the tubing dimensions themselves. This is due to the fact that, due to overpressure from the inside or from the outside of the outside while trying to achieve a greater radial expansion of the force of more than 1: 3.5, deformations are manifested in the walls of the hoses due to uneven wall thickness. rings - unstretched points that deplete the entire hose, which has a significant impact on increasing waste in production.

Přitom mechanické vlastnosti používaných materiálov by umožnili podstatné váčšie radiálně roztiahnutie, ktoré by umožňovalo zvačšonie rozsahu použitelnosti týchto výrobkov při ich praktickom využití.At the same time, the mechanical properties of the materials used would allow for a substantial radial expansion, which would increase the range of applicability of these products in their practical application.

The above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated by the solution according to the invention, which consists in that in the first stage the hose is expanded by pressure or vacuum to 2 to 3.5 times its original diameter and fixed in this form by cooling. The hose so expanded shall be threaded onto the auxiliary mandrel 1 to 5 mm smaller than the inner diameter of the hose expanded in the first stage, heated to a temperature of 140 to 180 ° C and placed in a gauge with an inside diameter of 1,5 to 3, 5 times the outer diameter of the auxiliary mandrel and subsequently expanded by applying an overpressure of 150 to 250 kPa or vacuum and the expanded shape of the hose is fixed by cooling below the melting point of the hose material.

The advantage of the solution according to the invention is, in particular, that it makes it possible to produce heat-shrinkable products with high level parameters exceeding the top products. In this way, a radial expansion exceeding the ratio of 1: 3.5 is achieved, and existing machinery is suitable for production after completion with the necessary preparations. The advantage is also a significant reduction in waste in the manufacture of hoses with a greater radial expansion, and also that hoses with a higher expansion ratio would allow the dimensioning of the row of hoses used over the couplings of the notification cables to be in line with the dimensional range of sleeves used for hose couplings.

Fixácia tvaru hadice sa dosiahla opáť ochladením pod teplotu bodu tavenia >In the following example, a hose with an outside diameter of mm and an inside diameter of 24 mm was used. In the first stage it was expanded in the usual manner, i. heating the hose to 160 ° C and imparting an air pressure of 150 kPa to the inside of the hose, which was stored in a 65 mm diameter gauge. The expanded hose was fixed in shape by cooling to a temperature of approximately 50 ° C, resulting in an outer diameter of 64 mm and an inner diameter of 61 mm. Subsequently, the expanded hose was slid onto a metal tube with an outer diameter of 60 mm and fastened with clips. The hose pushed on the mandrel was then expanded again by heating to 160 ° C and a total radial expansion of 1: 3.8 was achieved by applying an air pressure of 150 kPa to the inside of the 95 mm diameter hose. The fixation of the hose shape was achieved by cooling below the melting point>

materiálu hadice, t<j. menšiu ako 120 °C.hose material, i.e. less than 120 ° C.

The hoses made according to the invention can be used in electrical engineering, in the cable industry in the production of couplings of power, notification and optical cables, or in other sectors, for example in the insulation of metal surfaces of molded products and in corrosion protection.
