Abstract
Novel cpds. of formula (I). n = 1 or 2; when n = 1 then A = a 2-(2',2',6',6'-tetramethyl piperid-4-yl)-propen-1-yl) gp. or a gp. of formula -(CH2)2-X, X = 1 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl piperid-4-ylamino, cyclohexylamino, N-piperidyl or N-morpholinyl gp.; and when n = 2 then A = gp. (1) or (2) where m = 1 or 2. - The polymer which may be e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene, contains 0.05-1.0wt.% w.r.t. polymer and photostabiliser of the novel cpd., as photostabiliser, together with 0.05-0.3wt.% w.r.t. polymer of a thermostabiliser, and 0.1-0.7wt.% w.r.t. polymer of a UV light absorber.
