Abstract

The fraud-proof paper is equipped with a safety pattern covering a part of its surface. The whole of the surface of the safety pattern consists of groups of parallel-embossed sections of lines positioned beside one another, which have two different heights, of the highest level (n3) and the average level (n2). The linear sections of one group pass perpendicularly to linear section of the neighbouring groups. The linear section or their parts (8, 9, 10), running in one direction and having the embosses of the highest level (n3) form the first image extending across more groups of collateral embossed linear sections. This image becomes to be visible if the fraud-proof paper (P) is illuminated or watched under acute angle in the direction (D'), which is oriented perpendicularly to the section of lines of this image. The second image is made analogically by embosses of the linear section with the highest level (n3), which run collaterally with the second direction, and is visible after turning the fraud-proof paper by 90 degrees. All the sections of lines having the emboss of the average level (n2) and in between positioned clearances, which have the same colour as the section of lines, form a ground tint of the safety pattern.<IMAGE>
