Abstract

The device for production of hydrogen sulphide consists of a tank with overflow defining the height of the sulphur contents in the tank, in which there is an arranged replaceable bundle of tubes immersed into liquid sulphur and containing catalyser, a central tube for drawing the reaction products off, and an enclosed chamber, which interconnects the outlets of tubes containing catalyser with the central tube inlet. Above the surface of the liquid sulphur, between the wall of the tank and the bundle of tubes there is a collector of sulphur drops, optimally in the form of a grid section wall, and the space between the tubes is in the top closed with a section wall.
