Abstract

The invention solves the production of the prototype of porcine insulin by the condensation reaction of amino acid component and des-Ala <B30> insulin with the initial content of zinc during catalysis by trypsin. The reaction takes place in the medium of 60 percent by volume of hydrous dimethylformamide with pH between 6 and 8, at the temperature between 18 and 20 degrees C for the duration between 10 and 20 hours. The prototype of porcine insulin is fully biologically active and can be used in pharmaceutical industry, especially for treatment of diabetes.
