Abstract

The solution concerns a new strand of fungus, which produces significantly higher concentrations of elymoclavine fructosides in a period of time shorter, than previously described strands in conditions of cultivation on liquid media and shows high glycosilation activity. The purpose of the solution is to enable fermentation of fructosides of elymoclavine. The strand is deposited in collection of microorganism of microbiological institute of Czechoslovak Academy of Science in Prague, under the number Claviceps purpurea (Fr.) Tul. 88-EP-47/1989.
