Abstract
Směs obsahuje 95 až 99 % hmotnostních písku nebo drti a 1 až 5 % hmotnostních kapalného polybutadienu o střední číselné molární hmotnosti 1 500 až 10 000 g/mol a o obsahu nejméně 35 % 1,2 adice. The mixture contains 95 to 99% by weight of sand or crushed stone and 1 to 5% by weight of liquid polybutadiene with a number average molar mass of 1,500 to 10,000 g/mol and a content of at least 35% 1,2 addition. The liquid polybutadiene used contains as a curing catalyst an organic compound of cobalt or vanadium or manganese or a mixture thereof in such an amount that the metal content per polybutadiene is 0.01 to 0.25% by weight. Another component of the mixture may optionally be 0.05 to 2% by weight of a color pigment, at the expense of the amount of sand. The liquid polybutadiene used for preparing the mixture for the production of artificial stone may have chains terminated with primary or secondary hydroxyl groups or carboxyl or isocyanate groups. The advantage of the mixture is its better visual adaptation to natural stone or the surrounding area of the repaired area compared to artificial stones currently used. The preparation of the mixture is also simpler and less sensitive to the technological process and the accuracy of weighing the individual components.
Description
The invention relates to a composition for the production of artificial stone.
There are several types of mixtures for the production of artificial stone, which differ in the type of binder used, most often it is white cement. Artificial stone prepared with the help of these binders is characterized by simplicity of preparation and, depending on the content of the binder, also high strength. However, its appearance is often problematic, especially if it is to be used to supplement or replace damaged sculptures or architectural elements made of natural stone. Artificial stone based on synthetic resins - epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, etc. can be visually very well adapted to the requirements, but its production is more complicated, because the binders used are two- or three-component. The individual components, in particular hardeners and catalysts, which are added in small amounts, must be linked relatively precisely. Deviations from the optimum ratio of the individual components cause complications during curing and impair the mechanical properties of the final product. The resin must be mixed with sand immediately after mixing the crosslinking components, as otherwise there is a risk of premature curing due to the exothermic nature of the curing reaction and poor heat dissipation.
These disadvantages are eliminated by the composition for the production of artificial stone according to the invention, which contains 95 to 99% by weight of sand or gravel and 1 and 5% by weight of liquid polybutadiene with an average number molar mass of 1,500 to 10,000 q / mol and a content of at least 35% of 1.2%. Another component, such as a curing catalyst, is an organic compound of cobalt or vanadium or manganese or a mixture thereof - in such an amount that the metal content of the polybutadiene is 0.01 to 0.25% by weight. The polybutadiene chains used may be terminated by primary or secondary hydroxyl groups or carboxyl groups or isocyanate groups which increase the adhesion of the non-polar polybutadiene to inorganic surfaces. Said mixture can be stored for a long time in a closed container without gelling, at most a thin blank is formed on the surface. Only when the mixture is in the form of a thin film on the surface of the sand particles are in contact with air, the action of atmospheric oxygen causes an oxipolymerization reaction causing crosslinking, i.e. curing of the polybutadiene.
The composition for the production of artificial stone based on liquid polybutadiene is prepared by homogenizing the components of the mixture with the optional addition of a small amount of color pigment and then filling them into a mold.
The handling strength of artificial stone at a pressure of 1 to 2 MPa is reached at normal temperature after 4 to 5 hours, but this time can be shortened by previously oxidizing liquid polybutadiene by bubbling oxygen at normal or elevated temperatures. The final compressive strength of 10 to 20 MPa, depending on the amount of fuel, the granulometry of the sand used and the required stone size, is reached after 3 to 7 days at 25 ° C. Curing can be accelerated by increasing the temperature.
The advantage of the mixture for the production of artificial stone based on liquid polybutadiene is the lower sensitivity of the preparation of this mixture to the technological process and the accuracy of the binding of the individual components. Another advantage can also be considered a better visual adaptation to natural stone or the surroundings of the repaired place.
