Abstract

A transport container, especially a crate for bottles, has a basic body (4) of injection-moulded plastic, which has a bottom, a peripheral side wall, interrupted at least for the purpose of forming a grip opening, and, if appropriate, a partitioning, stiffening at least partially the inner space between the bottom and side wall (13). In the transport container, one or more insert parts (1, 5) are provided, which are produced in a separate moulding operation and have spacer studs (11) which end in a boundary surface of the basic body (4) and are for accurate positioning during the injection-moulding of the basic body (4). For coding purposes, the spacer studs (11) have in the boundary surface of the basic body (4) a cross-sectional shaping and/or colouring serving for identification. <IMAGE>
