Abstract
A multilayer plastic container is produced using two or more layers. The outer layer is introduced into a mould and an inner layer is extruded into the mould. The bottom edges are joined together by clamping, whilst one layer is in the melt phase. - Compressed air blown through the clamping section forces sealing between the two layers over the entire surface. The mould is then closed and both layers forced against the inner surface of the mould.
