Abstract
In a spark erosion process for working roller-shaped component, the electrodes are grouped with an even number of segment (1-6) to a group and stretch parallel to the axis of the component. The electrode holder is inclined to the component surface such that at least 50% of the work surface of the electrodes is at the required distance for spark erosion. This is achieved by connecting the electrodes in pairs to voltage sources with the outer electrodes (1,6) followed by the next pair etc.
