Phenanthrene-9,10-dione 9-0-acyl-oxime derivs. of formula (I) are new: R = 1-10C alkylamino, 1-10C alkylthio, 1-5C alkoxy, or phenyl or phenylamino opt. ring-substd. by 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, NO2, amino, CN and/or halogen. - Phenanthrene-9,10-dione 9-0-(n-butylaminocarbonyl)-oxime is specifically claimed.
