Abstract

Mfg. particulate sheet material, involves compressing (3) a mixt. (2) of flakes or particles and cementitions material to form a mat, into which steam and/or hot gas is injected (5). The mat (2) is then vented (10), and evacuated (11) of injected fluid. - Specifically the cementitious material is resin, catalyst and paraffin, or similar material, pref. resin. Appts. comprises upper and lower relatively movable frames equipped with press belts (12) carrying the mat (2) past injection station (5) and evacuation station (11).
