Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición para el control de crecimiento de brotes, empleada en cultivos de tabaco, que incluye flumetralina, solventes y tensioactivos, donde dicha composición tiene un punto de inflamación de por lo menos aproximadamente 62 grdos C determinado por ASTM D 93. La presente invención se refiere también a un método de control del crecimiento de brotes en plantas de tabaco, que involucra la aplicación de una composición, mencionada anteriormente, en la post-emergencia de los brotes en dichas plantas de tabaco.The present invention relates to a composition for the control of growth of buds, used in tobacco crops, which includes flumetralin, solvents and surfactants, wherein said composition has a flash point of at least about 62 gr C determined by ASTM D 93. The present invention also relates to a method of controlling the growth of buds in tobacco plants, which involves the application of a composition, mentioned above, in the post-emergence of the buds in said tobacco plants.
