Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un toroide magnético (100) caracterizado por un toroide similar a Möbius retorcido en un grado, en donde la sección transversal del toroide similar a Möbius tiene una forma cerrada con al menos cuatro lados rectos, en donde cada lado del toroide similar a Möbius está magnetizado ortogonalmente para formar el toroide magnético (100), creando así un campo magnético que tiene polaridad giratoria alrededor del toroide magnético (100) cuando el toroide magnético (100) está girando sobre su línea central. La presente invención también se refiere a un dispositivo de acoplamiento giratorio accionado magnéticamente (200) que comprende un primer toroide magnético (101) y un segundo toroide magnético (102) que están dispuestos adyacentes al primer toroide magnético (101), en donde el primer toroide magnético (101) puede girar sobre su propio eje con respecto al movimiento del segundo toroide magnético (102) cuando porciones de sus respectivos campos magnéticos interactúan entre sí. </p>
