Abstract

La invención se refiere a un enchufe protector contra sobretensiones con un elemento de contacto (1) para un descargador de sobretensión (4) con dos electrodos exteriores (5) y un electrodo central (3), que además de la puesta a tierra en el caso de sobretensión, también garantiza una protección contra la sobrecarga térmica. Este enchufe de seguridad se usa especialmente como dispositivo de protección en las instalaciones de la telecomunicación. La estructuración de tal elemento de contacto debe ser sencilla, la fabricación económica y el montaje sin esfuerzo. Para esta finalidad, el elemento de contacto lleva un estribo de contacto (9, 10) configurado de tal modo que está prensado elásticamente contra los electrodos exteriores del descargador de sobretensión. Un termopar (11) está dispuesto en un punto adecuado entre el descargador de sobretensión y el estribo de contacto, que mantiene el estribo de contacto a distancia de los electrodos exteriores y que cambia su forma bajo la influencia de un calentamiento excesivo, por lo cual permite el desplazamiento del estribo de contacto hacia los electrodos exteriores. Otro estribo de contacto (2) del elemento de contacto ocupa una posición de adyacencia directa al electrodo central y dos mordazas dobladas (7) del elemento de contacto forman un dispositivo de enchufe para una aleta de contacto (8) unida con una barra a tierra.
