Abstract

Spherical tannin resin for adsorption and concentration of metal ions. It is related to the branch of chemistry and aims to remove and concentrate metal ions present in water, for preconcentration and analytical purposes, with the advantage that it can be used more than 200 times. It consists of the synthesis of the tannic resin from the immobilization of the tannins of Eucaliptus saligna Sm on spherical cellulose and its method of use for the preconcentration of metallic traces for analytical purposes in a continuous flow system followed by flame Atomic Absorption . (FIA AA). The resin can also be used in the safety treatment of industrial wastewater or natural waters and in studies of environmental impact assessment.
