Abstract
Un pozo petrolero incluye una boca de pozo 2, por debajo del nivel del suelo, que se extiende a un yacimiento petrolero 6. La boca de pozo incluye una tubería 8 dentro de la cual se dispone una bomba de cavidad progresiva (PCP) 10, la cual incluye una entrada 12 en su extremo inferior y se conecta al extremo superior en el tubo de producción 14. Se define un espacio anular 16 entre la bomba 10/tubo 14 y la tubería 8. El espacio anular se comunica con el yacimiento e incluye un cabezal 20 de fluido del yacimiento. Una formulación de base acuosa formada por un alcohol de polivinilo opcionalmente reticulado puede verterse en el espacio anular 6 y pasar bajo gravedad al yacimiento 6, inmediatamente el flujo ascendente de la entrada 12. La formulación puede mejorar el funcionamiento y la eficiencia de la bomba 10 debido a su habilidad de incrementar la movilidad del crudo en el yacimiento, inmediatamente el flujo ascendente de la bomba 10 y/o mejora la habilidad del crudo ingresar a la entrada. Adicionalmente, al mejorar la movilidad y/o reducir el nivel de contrapresión cuando el crudo ingresa a la entrada (o cualquier otra constricción) la tasa de flujo del crudo desde el yacimiento hasta la boca de pozo puede liberarse resultando en el aumento de la tasa de producción de crudo.
