Abstract

Esta invención está relacionada con la obtención de un nuevo ingrediente activo y su proceso de obtención a partir de los frutos verdes o maduros de Acrocomia crispa y/o Acrocomia aculeata, ambas de la familia Arecaceae. Dicho ingrediente activo puede ser empleado como suplemento nutricional, Formulaciones con funciones cosméticas-terapéuticas o en composiciones farmacéuticas para prevenir y/o tratar la inflamación y el estrés oxidativo, e incluye una mezcla de ácidos grasos (libres y/o como acilglicéridos o ésteres etílicos) entre 6 y 28 átomos de carbono, mayoritariamente los saturados de cadena lineal de 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 y 18 átomos de carbono y los insaturados de 16 y 18 átomos de carbono, pudiendo contener además esteroles y alcoholes grasos de alto peso molecular.
