Abstract

<p>La presente invención se refiere a un montaje de cortadora de base flotante (16) para usar en cosechadoras de caña de azúcar, donde el montaje está formado por dos cortadoras de base, en donde cada una de las cosechadoras de base(16) comprende un conjunto de cuchillas de corte (9), donde el montaje de cortadora de base (16) comprende el ajuste primario de la distancia del conjunto de cuchillas de corte (9), con respecto al suelo, donde el montaje de cortadora de base (16) está montado sobre el cuerpo de la cosechadora mediante un conjunto de varillas articuladas (2, 5), donde el montaje de cortadora de base (16) comprende medios de lectura para leer la variación de la superficie del suelo (7, 8), donde los medios de lectura (7, 8) son capaces de generar una señal eléctrica para la variación de la distancia del conjunto de cuchillas de corte (9) con respecto al suelo. Con esta invención, las cortadoras de base (16) pueden adaptarse rápidamente a las irregularidades del terreno, lo que permite cortar la caña de azúcar a una altura adecuada.</p>
