Procedimiento para la producción de níquel de alta pureza a partir de concentrados sulfurado, caracterizado por el hecho de que comprende, en sucesión, las siguientes etapas: a) Secado y tueste, en las cercanías de 900 grados C., del nombrado concentrado sulfurado; b) disolución en el ácido clorhídrico del producto obtenido; c) oxidación del hierro contenido en la solución resultante de la operación precedente; d) eliminación de las impurezas sobre resinas intercambiadoras de iones, del tipo amonio cuaternario fuertemente básico; e) neutralización del ligero exceso de acidez clorhídrica; f) electrólisis de la solución de cloruro de níquel así purificado.Procedure for the production of high purity nickel from sulfur concentrates, characterized by the fact that it comprises, in succession, the following stages: a) Drying and roasting, in the vicinity of 900 degrees C., of the named sulfur concentrate; b) dissolution in the hydrochloric acid of the obtained product; c) oxidation of the iron contained in the solution resulting from the preceding operation; d) removal of impurities on ion exchange resins, of the strongly basic quaternary ammonium type; e) neutralization of the slight excess of hydrochloric acidity; f) electrolysis of the nickel chloride solution thus purified.
