Procedimiento para la obtención de xilano y materias fibrosas de materias primas vegetales que contengan xilano, que se desintegran por medio de un tratamiento de presión de vapor y desfibración, caracterizado por: que el tratamiento de presión de vapor se lleva a cabo con vapor saturado a temperaturas de 160 hasta 230 gC durante 2 min. hasta 4 horas, las materias primas vegetales así desintegradas se lixivian con una solución acuosa, de la solución se separan xilanos y fracciones de xilano en forma depurada principalmente de monosacáridos y en su caso de otras impurezas, porque, si se desea, los xilanos y fracciones de xilanos, en su caso en forma de la solución obtenida, se hidrolizan sin aislamiento especial en xilosa y, si se desea, la xilosa, en su caso en forma de la solución obtenida, se reduce sin aislamiento especial de manera conocida a xilita.Procedure for obtaining xylan and fibrous materials from plant raw materials containing xylan.
