In the adhesives sector, especially when coating materials in the form of strips, there is an increasing demand for short curing times and rapid application of the adhesives used for coating. The usual systems on the market are usually based on polyurethane, acrylic or epoxy binders, which harden relatively slowly by reaction with an added hardener or moisture. The usual curing time of such systems available on the market is about 4 to about 21 days. However, such a time period until final curing and thus the highest possible load capacity of the binders for the films is usually undesirable.

During production, processing and use, foil composite materials are exposed to a number of stresses that are typically not encountered with other bonded materials or are not encountered in previous uses of foil composite materials. In the production of foil composite materials, different materials will also be joined together, with different flexibilities and surface structures. As a rule, these are materials in the form of a strip, for example made of paper, plastics, plastic foils with vaporized metal or metal oxide, especially transition metals, or metal foils, for example aluminum foils.

Foil composite materials are exposed to a number of mechanical loads during production, processing and use, which place high demands on the adhesive forming the connection between the materials due to the mechanical properties of this adhesive.

Since bonded materials in the form of a strip are usually highly flexible materials that are constantly exposed to tensile and bending movements during production, processing and use, the adhesive itself must also have a sufficiently high elasticity to withstand these loads without damage or loosening.

Dále ovšem musí lepidlo vykazovat také vysokou míru pevnosti vzhledem k odlupování, aby odolalo zátěžím kolmým k povrchu přilepení fólie bez odtržení připojení fólie.Furthermore, however, the adhesive must also exhibit a high degree of peel strength to withstand loads perpendicular to the film bonding surface without tearing the film connection.

Rovněž musí lepidlo také při delším skladování přilepení fólie vykazovat co nejmenší sklon k vytváření zabarvených vedlejších produktů, například přiIn addition, the adhesive must generally meet a number of criteria with regard to the tendency to crystallise and discolour, which go beyond the usual performance parameters of adhesives for conventional bonding. For example, when bonding transparent plastic films, it must be ensured that the film remains permanently transparent without clouding or crystallisation of the adhesive. The adhesive must also have the lowest possible tendency to form coloured by-products, for example when the film is stored for a longer period of time.

The bonding materials for the films should have the highest possible heat resistance after the shortest possible time. This property is particularly important when, for example, due to the short production and filling times, products with even higher temperatures need to be packaged using the combined bonding materials. However, the heat resistance property is also important when materials that are already at least partially covered by the film combined material are to be subjected to heating.

The greatest possible absence of migrates is proving to be an increasingly important quality criterion for 20 film composite materials. The term migrates refers to low-molecular components of the film binder that are not bound to one place within the binder, i.e. they can move within the binder and can, for example, diffuse from the binder into the material coated with this binder.

í í’· · · • · · · *Because such low-molecular components can be detrimental to the physical health of living beings, especially humans, it is desirable to produce bonding agents for films with as little content as possible.

Adhesive components are known which radically polymerize after irradiation. However, the disadvantage of such radically polymerizing adhesives is that they generally have to be cured under inert conditions, since oxygen from the atmosphere acts as an inhibitor. Curing is therefore carried out, for example, by irradiating the material in an inert atmosphere, with nitrogen and argon being suitable inert gases. The disadvantage of this process is that expensive instrumentation may have to be operated in order to achieve the necessary inert conditions.

Adhesives according to the prior art generally have the disadvantage that they do not meet all the requirements that are placed on an adhesive for the production of a film composite material. It is possible to produce fast-curing adhesives from epoxy compounds and polyurethane polyols, but their heat resistance does not meet the requirements set, for example, in food preparation or in the sterilization of medical devices.

Dále bylo úlohou vynálezu dát k dispozici lepidlo k výrobě fóliových kombinovaných materiálů, se kterým lze obdržet fóliové kombinované materiály s vysokou odolností k teplu a nepatrným obsahem migrátů (například nízkomolekulových polyolů).- 6 the use of such film composite materials, and has a fast curing time, and high shear and peel strength. It was further the object of the invention to provide an adhesive for the production of film composite materials, with which film composite materials with high heat resistance and a low content of migrates (for example low molecular weight polyols) can be obtained.

This task is solved by an adhesive containing at least two components A and B, which will be described further in this text.

Předmětem vynálezu je použití lepidla, které obsahuje alespoň dvě složky A a B, při němžThe subject of the invention is the use of an adhesive which contains at least two components A and B, wherein

a) složka A obsahuje sloučeninu s alespoň jednou vinyletherovou skupinou a molekulovou hmotností větší než 400, aa) component A contains a compound with at least one vinyl ether group and a molecular weight greater than 400, and

Pojem směs v dané souvislosti znamená, že se smísí alespoň dvě polymerové sloučeniny ze dvou syntézních nasazenin.9 9 99 9 9 individual polymer compounds, as usually formed on the basis of a statistical distribution of molecular weight (depending on the chosen synthesis method). The term mixture in this context means that at least two polymer compounds from two synthesis inputs are mixed.

Tyto polymerové sloučeniny se například mohou lišit 10 rozdělením molekulární hmotnosti, tj. hodnotou molekulární hmotnosti (Mn), a/nebo střední hodnotou molekulární hmotnosti (M^). Zpravidla však bude pojem směs označovat směs alespoň dvou různých polymerových sloučenin, které byly například vytvořeny syntézou rozdílných monomerů.These polymer compounds may differ, for example, in their molecular weight distribution, i.e., molecular weight value (M n ), and/or number average molecular weight value (M n ). However, as a rule, the term mixture will refer to a mixture of at least two different polymer compounds, which have been formed, for example, by the synthesis of different monomers.

The polymer compounds used as component A have a polymer backbone that has been formed by polycondensation, polyaddition or polymerization, or by subsequent use of the aforementioned methods to obtain the polymer during its synthesis.

The compounds usable in the present invention as component A have at least one vinyl ether group which is covalently bonded either at the end of the polymer chain or as a side group of the polymer chain. The bonding of the polymer with the vinyl ether group can be varied, although it has proven advantageous in the present invention when the vinyl ether group is bonded to the polymer chain by means of an OH group present in the polymer chain.

Způsoby výroby polymerů shora jmenovaného druhu nesoucích OH-skupiny jsou odborníkovi z příslušné odborné literatury makromolekulární chemie dobře známé, a není je na tomto místě třeba dále zmiňovat.444 444 44 44 44 44 used in the context of the present invention as component A, for example, polyamide, polyester, polyether, polyacrylate, polymethacrylate, polycarbonate, or polyurethane, or a copolymer containing two or more of the above-mentioned structures. In the context of the present invention, preference is given to such polymer compounds which, before the vinyl ether group is established, have at least one OH group on the polymer chain. Methods for producing polymers of the above-mentioned type bearing OH groups are well known to the person skilled in the art from the relevant technical literature of macromolecular chemistry and need not be mentioned further here.

Polymers carrying OH groups can be provided with vinyl ether groups in a particularly simple and advantageous manner. Usually, monohydroxyvinyl ethers are used as starting materials, which can be obtained, for example, by reacting acetylene with a polyol, preferably a diol. These monohydroxyvinyl ethers can then be reacted with a polyisocyanate, the stoichiometric ratio of monohydroxyvinyl ether to polyisocyanate being chosen such that at least one isocyanate group remains per molecule after the reaction. The compound thus obtained can then be reacted with a polymer compound carrying OH groups, resulting in a compound having covalently bound vinyl ether groups.

It is also possible to choose the reverse procedure, in which polymers carrying OH groups are first reacted with polyisocyanate, so that a polymer carrying isocyanate groups is formed, and this polymer carrying isocyanate groups is subsequently reacted with monohydroxyvinyl ether.

Zpravidla by střední molekulová hmotnost polymeru použitého jako složka D neměla překročit 400. Protože polymery zpravidla vykazují statistické rozdělení molekulové hmotnosti v závislosti na zvoleném způsobu syntézy, vztahuje se pojem střední molekulová hmotnost na střední hodnotu (Mn) molekulové hmotnosti polymeru obsaženého ve složce A. To znamená, že se mohou vyskytovat také molekuly s molekulovou hmotností nižší než udaná hodnota 500.As a rule, the average molecular weight of the polymer used as component D should not exceed 400. Since polymers usually show a statistical distribution of molecular weight depending on the chosen synthesis method, the term average molecular weight refers to the average value (M n ) of the molecular weight of the polymer contained in component A. This means that molecules with a molecular weight lower than the stated value of 500 may also occur.

The films coated with adhesive in this way are then joined together in known ways and then introduced into the irradiation zone, where the polymerization reaction, or crosslinking of the individual components, is initiated by irradiation with ultraviolet light. Alternatively, the film coated with adhesive can also be irradiated before the adhesive-coated surface is placed on the second film. This, however, assumes that the connection with the second film occurs at a time when the polymerization of the adhesive, i.e. curing, is not yet completely completed. The adhesive must still have enough adhesion at this time to hold the second strip. This procedure is recommended especially when two films are to be glued together that are not permeable to the radiation necessary to initiate polymerization.

Popsaný slepovací a laminovací postup je možno vícekrát opakovat, takže lze vyrobit lamináty, které mají více než dvě slepené vrstvy. The described bonding and laminating process can be repeated multiple times, so that laminates can be produced that have more than two bonded layers.

Ke slepovaným materiálům patří například papír, hydrát celulózy, umělé hmoty jako polyethylen, polypropylen, polyethylentereftalat, polyvinylchlorid, kopolymery vinylchloridu a vinylidenchloridu, kopolymery vinylacetatolefinů, polyamidy, nebo kovové fólie, například z hliníku, olova nebo mědi.Bonded materials include, for example, paper, cellulose hydrate, plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride, copolymers of vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride, copolymers of vinyl acetate olefins, polyamides, or metal foils, for example made of aluminum, lead or copper.
